Yes, then he went under the knife. Let's hope those arms doesn't let him down this time around. -
Who Is Likely To Deny Jason Another Title
Liverstam replied to a topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I don't agree. If Crump is head and shoulders above everyone else this year, as he was last year - then I'll agree. But I don't think so. He is the best at the moment but there's not much between him and a few others. My point being, there is a handful of riders who are well placed to deny Jason another title this year and if they do, it won't be because Jase messed up. Here's to hoping for an exciting Grand Prix season! -

Getingarna speedway (my original team who will not compete in 2007) is the organizer of this ice-racing meeting. It will be an international meeting at Östermalms IP in central Stockholm on saturday March 3. Peter Koij, Fredrik Olsson, Tobias Åström, Kurtis Lind, Joakim Söderström, Peter Jansson, Grzegorz Knapp + 2 russians are confirmed starters so far.

The GPs are on SVT, our equivalent of the BBC.

Elitserien: Christian Hefebrock 4.03 Eric Andersson 4.31 Still, I'd probably rate Hefenbrock a little higher than Andersson going on 2006.

Whoa! That's a massive post Anders, must have taken you a while to compile? It's great though! Nice one.

Maybe you shouldn't stay up so late Mikael, what's the point of this post? Have you not seen the first post of this thread, which I have been constantly updating?

Good point Anders. I aswell had never heard about him. I really can't imagine him being good enough to hold down a place in the Indianerna team in 2007. They probably wanted his converted average to tinker with, aswell as having him on their books for the future.

Thank you Iris123, and if any Coventryfans or anyone else with an opinion of Smolinski would care to post it I would be much obliged.

Polish League Attendance Figures
Liverstam replied to Bavarian's topic in International World of Speedway
You are talking about Galgberget in Visby, Gotland. Home of Bysarna. There is to be construction of houses on this hallowed ground, although just a few days ago the politicians made a decision to let Bysarna use it for 2007 aswell and put the construction on hold. The tracks in sweden are also geographically concentrated to the southern and middle part of the country. There is rarely any speedway north of Avesta, even if for example Östersund have a track and some history. -
Martin Smolinski is the latest rider to get into the Bajen squad. Iris123, please tell us all about him! I remember seeing him at the SWC round in Eskilstuna in 2005 and was impressed by how well he hung on against the top notch opposition from Sweden, Poland and Australia.

Looks like Kaparna managed to get Matej Zagar to sign after all, according to reports in swedish media today. He will not ride in all matches though. Also, Chris Louis is heading for Gothenburg.

Who Will Be World Champ In 2007?

Yes, the conditional suspension runs from April 1 to October 1 and includes the SGP. An absolute miscarriage of justice IMO. -

I think Jason Crump had a fantastic year in 2006 and just about everything went his way. Ofcourse he will be the man to beat in 2007, but I just can't see him being that superior again. Also, when someone raises the bar like Tony in 2005 and Jason in 2006 others will respond by upping their own game. I wouldn't be surprised to see Nicki, Hans and Andreas running Jason very close in 2007. Leigh, Greg and Tomasz are out of it IMO. None of them will make top-three, probably not top-five either. Maybe I'm just hoping, but I have a feeling Andreas might just come of age in 2007 and seriously challenge for the podium. My prediction for 2007; 1. Nicki 2. Jason 3. Andreas
