Congratulations to Nicki. Pleased to see Hans in second place after the trauma of the last three weeks and well done to Neils-Kristian.
Bjarne's knee injury was sustained in his fall in the GP in Prague. He decided to rest it, as he had already missed the first round when he broke his wrist.
Bet the chat was with Tatum, his new mentor!
Tatum was in his pit corner in Nicholl's GP garb in Prague and behind the scenes before that. Hope he is paying Tatum plenty to give up his Sky work?
Why? Bjarne entered the Qualifiers last year and won his place fair and square, as did N-K Iversen.
This year, Bjarne was scheduled to do the Qualifiers, but unfortunately, broke his wrist .
Apologies for three posts in a row!
KK was given a seeded place for the GPs this year because as a Wild Card last year he finished on the rostrum and also because he top scored in Poland's World Cup win.
KK has said himself that with being left out of GB for a team place this season, he isn't getting enough racing. Must admit that I thought he would do better on tracks such as Prague. Still, he has time as he's only 23.
I thought exacty the same. Adams just wasn't interested was he? Bad luck on Chris Holder in his last ride; in the lead when he gets an ef. The Aussies just had bad luck all night.
Well done to Denmark, though and also to Poland, who did so much better on that track than I had expected. Just goes to show...with Speedway, it's always unpredictable.
One of those rode in the GB team last year. Eddie Kennett rode in the first round at Coventry and in the Final. He scored 10 points at Coventry as well.
He has increased his average this year, he was 2nd in the British Final, earned the Wild Card at Cardiff....and yet wasn't selected for Coventry this year. Why ??
So did I. Lynch looked at the replays and said "There was no contact!"
Could you believe it? It was there on screen for all to see! No contact? Get some spectacles, Lynch!
I thought Mark LOram is one of those involved in the group to work with GB juniors this year?
He obviously can't do too much at present, but in the SS he stated that he is looking forward to working with the youngsters as soon as possible.
He will be in Vojens ! Jim lynch has already said that Stead and Allen will be replaced by Kennett and Woffinden there.
Must do wonders for Stead and Allen's confidence!
