  1. He got a trip as a sidecar passenger to be unveilled as the new promoter :-)
  2. Peter & David Mason just unveiled as the new promoters.
  3. Couldn't possibly say it out loud, but you can work it out from ___Salmond ___the Herald Angels SIng, Loch ___ Monster.
  4. With Torun staying up, the opportunity for Jason Doyle to move there may prove very tempting for him...watch that space. Przemek Pawlicki moving to Disneyland would be like a Celtic player moving to Rangers (or the reverse)....with similar knock-on consequences. Was it Pawel Swist that did that some years ago...and was never ever forgiven for it?
  5. At least he knew better than to do all that without trying to dodge paying for a ticket
  6. As many a seasoned fan could have guessed, Adam Roynon has sustained another season ending injury (busted collarbone) so he won't be competing now.
  7. What are the options for 2018? Is the Abbey Stadium still fit for purpose, or will the new Cardiff-esque stadium that was originally promissed, who knows how long ago, going to be ready by next March?
  8. Heard a rumour that this is going to put Nicki P back onto the market...with Stal Gorzow possibly being in the hunt to sign him if Iversen goes to Torun. Then again, I've also heard that there's a possible Chris Holder-Iversen swap possible.
  9. So a virtual Wolverhampton cut & shunt into Birmingham? Honestly? Can't see Adams or Woffy's loyalties being that thin, especially as the word is that CVS is in poor health. That would be one hell of a kick in CVS's teeth at a time when he is in need of more compassion than that...unless of course the writing is on the wall at Monmore Green?
  10. Judging by Graham Drury's piece in the local press, it's NOT going to be Mick Horton. Which only goes to show, what's Mick Horton got to do with "business people of substance" either?
  11. Are these "business people of substance"?
  12. It might do if you rhyme it with the Welsh translation of Morris...maybe?
  13. This bit about "former world champion" etc has not come from any official sources though has it? What the official press release says is that ""I can assure supporters that they are business people of substance... not easy thing to manage a club of Birmingham's size and run your own business as well." Do the front runners in the gossip stakes (Ermolenko, Tatum, Pearson, O'Reilly and Deeley) qualify as "business people of substance"? Oh, yes, "business people of substance"...where have we heard that before?
  14. The post on Facebook just said "Wednesday" without being specific about which Wednesday...not "this" Wednesday and not "next" Wednesday either. I'm not sure that the dickie tickers of the average aged Brummies fans can take the strain if it is indeed next Wednesday.
  15. Add to the list that the only reason that Jason Doyle hasn't left yet is that Torun may get relegated, and it looks like Falubaz will only have Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Pluto on a contract for next year, going into the transfer window. Be interesting to see who they can tempt over to Disneyland.
  16. Then I'm in deep doo-doo then, as proving it will be very difficult, bearing in mind that the first incarnation of his "GoSpeed" company ceased trading in 2010 leaving £30,000 of unpaid debts. Charming eh?
  17. Just to add... Karpov out of Disneyland Hampel out of Disneyland Shamek Pawlicki on his way out of Stal Gorzow Niels Kristian Iversen possibly on his way out of Stal Gorzow Stal Gorzow eyeing up Szymon Wozniak And if Torun go down, prepare for a plethora of ex-World Champions coming onto the market.
  18. There may have been a lot more money "in the system" if 40% of the Sky money over the many years of their lucrative sponsorship, had gone into the sport instead of into Terry Russell's back pocket to pay his mortgage off. Classic example of someone becoming "all right jack" whilst the the sport that they were supposed to be serving floundered.
  19. Both Andrej Karpov and Jarek Hampel are leaving that Mickey Mouse team - Wonder where they will go next year? Rumours are that Jason Doyle is far from certain to stay at Mickey Mouse. If he goes too, that'll set off some Tr3mmors
  20. Treat yourself to a trip out there next year. Twice I've been able to get return air fares from Birmingham to/from Poznan for under £25. It makes away trips to some tracks in Britain expensive in comparison.
  21. Just wait til next year when the Coventry Bees ride out of their new "home" in Perry Barr...
