Just watched my Sky+ recording of the UK Flattrack staged at Leicester and in one of the breaks was an "Ice Racing - coming soon to Motors TV" advert, with action from Assen on show. Given I recorded this Flattrack over a month ago, does anyone know if the Ice Racing has been broadcast already. I'd hate to have missed it.

My apologies if this has already been suggested, but BSI should, in my opinion, reduce the number of picks from 4 to 3, and have the fourth spot as an extra wild card, so that an in form rider could take that position on a GP by GP basis. There would remain a local wild card as #16. Therefore from a British perspective, GB could have 2 representatives at Cardiff.

Scrap all the qualifiers as we now know them and replace with qualifiers on the Thursday before each GP. Bottom 6 from previous GP plus 10 others to battle for place in the GP. How to decide which 10 ? They pay to enter !

My understanding is that the Brits contesting this years qualifiers for a 2012 GP place come from the 2010 British Final, similarly next years qualifiers will come from the 2011 British Final. If it's 6 places next year it'll be Nicholls, Harris, Woffy, Kennett, Richardson, and Barker as first choices, with Robson and Bridger next in line if any of the 6 decline to take part.

Maybe that's what the Plus in Travel Plus stands for ?

No, regrettably we did not film this years. Having a single World Final at U21 level meant it was possible to just about cover costs, extending it to 3 rounds meant that wouldnt have been possible.

Woffinden will get the nod again as part of the BSI contract with Sky.
