  1. Troy has a history with broken arms taking a long time to heal, think back to the PL days
  2. Anders Thomsen would be a good option, great style and a proper racer too
  3. I think they meant an Eric Riss >> https://www.flickr.com/photos/the_womble/20337884949/in/album-72157657169360151/
  4. he didn't enjoy last season, and that shows in his scores I spose .. maybe taking a step back initially is the way forward (and I don't mean PL)
  5. probably Wolves again .. about time it went back to Coventry or to Belle Vue
  6. there's certainly a lack of riders actually wanting to ride in the UK, so whatever people are saying about "go do a deal with so-and-so" it doesn't actually work like that! but there could be some changing their mind if Poland goes ** up
  7. His UK mechanic, Robbie Kessler, used his
  8. well I know who it is but I'm still not confident it will happen ...
  9. what if it was Simon's decision though? he has lots of sponsorship around Peterborough
  10. just have to wait and see .. the Polish league isn't in great shape behind the scenes, so there might be some fallout from that at some point
  11. serious question Bryn ... have they changed the logo yet??
  12. bet he argued when told an answer was wrong too
  13. absolutely, but as I put, IF he is on good machinery that he is confident in, he'll be top 3
  14. a good signing by Peterborough, fully expect Nick to be one of the top PL riders at the end of season. seen enough of Nick at Kings Lynn to know he has potential to be much better than 2015, although he's very much a confidence rider .. IF Nick is on good machinery, I think we might even have a PL top 3 rider the Panthers team is solid, ignore the averages, there's enough riders in this team to push for the #1 spot, and that can only be good surely?
  15. expect goalposts to be moved as per Steve Boxall when he was averaging high from 'protected' reserve for Rye House

  17. do you remember the old Mildenhall track, next to no straights at all .. if that track was around now the racing would be just like Peterborough or Somerset. when KL were Premier League everyone seemed to hate going there, I know KL had good teams, but the opposition were on the whole beaten before a wheel was turned. now, and this is my opinion, the track is the wrong shape for the speed of the bikes, something doesn't quite click .. as been mentioned, to me, shorter straights and wide bends are how tracks should be for the current bikes. I love speedway on bigger tracks though, that's what it's all about for me, not silly trick tracks like Lakeside, I even prefer the old Poole track from the 80's to the one there now, and when the racing at KL is good, it's usually VERY good, same as Peterborough and Somerset, great tracks
