  1. I'd say BV riders wages were PART of the problem, seeing as there is so much owed to them!
  2. well BSI had to bail Belle Vue out of the crap before the SWC could go ahead there, I'm guessing Belle Vue weren't very good at working within their budgets .....
  3. if this was the case surely the clubs I mentioned plus many more that are losing money wouldn't be in the crap position they're in and having to make pretty drastic changes to their league
  4. if the money being paid out i.e wages, air fares, mechanic, etc etc aren't sustainable by the club, then yes how would you feel currently if you were a supporter of Belle Vue, Leicester, Plymouth etc
  5. superb at the showground, and I've seen him ride well at other tracks too
  6. don't be too sure .. just think a better manager can be a big difference to the riders when you want to win
  7. ah yeah forgot about that .. oh well, lets wait and see eh .. hopefully Olly will come in
  8. I wouldn't be surprised if Niels says no to the UK in 2017 .. I really think he needs to kick on with the GP's and I'm wondering if he stretched himself a bit thin this year. It's a massive shame if it turns out to be the case, top rider and top bloke, but the way things are going it's pushing this sort of rider away with the rules, which ultimately, like it or not, is what is needed for the sport to survive in this country
  9. disappointed that you feel this way. Rye House have a massive backing at the moment, maybe Peterborough don't have as much. Also, I've mentioned before, the top league will be required to chop and change race days to fit in with TV, Peterborough might not have the luxury to be able to do that, the Showground will need certain commitments I'm sure
  10. everyone keeps mentioning Poland and Sundays .. sure they're going to be running on other days next season as well
  11. did the money go to the league then? or did it go to the council?
  12. even more disturbing that BSI had to pay rather a lot of money just 2 weeks or so before the SWC this year just to make sure it went ahead!! I'm thinking that might have a bearing on the decision
  13. I would imagine it's more likely because BSI had to bail out Belle Vue before the SWC could go ahead this year!! I doubt they have had to bail Kings Lynn out
  14. do you know who the team is then, or are you saying that because Lasse hasn't signed?
  15. don't treat some of them too well though according to sponsors themselves! also wondering why Rick & Julie haven't stayed too long
  16. i'll keep them quiet for now, could upset a few people and wreck a few lives
  17. I could definitely mention a few things that DOESN'T make a good team manager
  18. because of paying over the odds maybe?
  19. we had a number 1 in Cook, meetings were lost through no reserves .. as Nigel Pearson always says on Sky, a reserves points count towards the final score **edit** we actually had 2 number 1s when Bjerre rode, but the bottom end was still missing and look how it ended
  20. that has to be the case, if they're not ready at this AGM with it being both EL & PL it only leaves NL
