or maybe the team is coming together nicely and the 1 - 7 will be announced after xmas? shame about Danny, once again I think he could do a good job for KL
-
Thomas Jorgensen got to be worth a shout I reckon, no idea on his average though

Poole Thread Blocked Due To Trolls
stevehone replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
to be fair, there are some Poole supporting window lickers that post on here -
think Kennett is getting more into grasstrack/longtrack now too so possibly Sunday clashes?
-
thing is, Peterborough weren't the only team at the 4s not to use their top riders
-
whereas i had a great weekend in Kings Lynn
-
wonder if this will be a fixed pair plus reserve or without a reserve. my preference is a squad of three and able to use any of two at any point, allowing the team manager something to do
-
surely that's Chris Holder
-
i get the feeling 2018 could be a make or break year for a few
-
i must be in a minority but IF he could make the fixtures I'd have Jack Holder back no problem - plenty of points and a great style for the showground

Rest Of The World Riders

or arsed -
nah, the riders closest to 7.99 will be asking for the earth
-
so everyone on here saying big decisions need to be made, yet you make light of that and expect everything within a few hours .. maybe you should call Matt to ask him what's taking so long
-
I'd be happy with Belle Vue - speedway is about seeing good racing and that's where's best in this country, with Peterborough right up there too
-
so for example their money is paid to Kings Lynn yet the promoter at Rye House is denied anything from visiting fans??!!
-
there's always a mid-season break, why not have the AGM then instead of waiting? few months of the season gone, can see what works and what doesn't, and try to force commitment for the following year so everyone can move forward straight away

this, in my opinion, was a big part of the issues of 2017 .. some saying rip the track, then others can't/won't ride it
-
haven't seen Lewi's twitter, but if it's Adrian Flux you're talking about, they sponsored Lewi this season but he wasn't at KL

Sgp Wildcards 2018
stevehone replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
as much as i like Pedersen & Holder, i think it's time they actually went through the qualifiers to prove themselves, Pedersen after injury, Holder after form drop. Having to ride qualifiers will possibly push them to turn things around which would be good for not only them, but us the spectators. Both are 100% capable but need to be out of the comfort zone -
80s was far worse for that in the UK
-
but you have a massive divide within the sport, and all the time there are conflicts at the top there's no moving forward
-
a bit of non-league football for a darn sight less than either!! proper football without all the diving and cheating and ridiculous pay packets to the people that don't give a monkeys about the club they play for. i grew up watching NL & BL speedway, and i really enjoyed the NL which, at that time, was for British and Commonwealth riders only. the racing was excellent with plenty of continuity in the teams, local riders, local sponsors, and a great atmosphere. with the point above, why would we be worse off making our way back to that sort of thing? supporters will know who their team is, and i believe the double up/down issue and the cost are the main ingredients for keeping people away
