  1. feel for Cook here, he's very much a confidence rider and getting kicked down like this will do even more harm. why not keep him in but start with Tai & Lambert and if Cook feels ready then use him. i know Craig is having a lot of motor issues and if you have no confidence in what you're riding then that hits just as much - i'm wondering if Craig was to even take a month out and get everything sorted, get testing in Poland, and come back the rider we know he is
  2. "holes on the first bend are dangerous" - hasn't bothered them for the last 10 years
  3. so he's done ok then, why sack him?
  4. there is no money in the sport in this country, yet you'll probably find the 6/7 point riders are the ones now able to name their price as they're the most sought after, not like the days when the 3rd heat leader was an 8 point rider. this country needs to keep costs down, and if riders can't ride without 2 teams then maybe it's time to get serious about things here and make them choose. we still have teams, but with Monday being a fixed night i fear for some of them, unless there's a mass exodus to the CL where they can have weekends and potential for actually getting people in. i had conversations with people around the sport a couple of days ago regarding this and i was told that Wolves are doing ok, but seriously, are they really? IF they had the option of another night do you think they'd take it?
  5. definitely wrong there if the last 2 Warsaw GP's i've been to is anything to go by
  6. wonder how many current PL teams will consider moving into the CL just to be able to run on a more favourable race night
  7. if he's riding speedway he's doing it to win, or what's the point?
  8. nope, it's all about winning, nothing less. if Freddie get's his name on that championship trophy i'm sure he won't even think about anything else
  9. shame Poole couldn't tease KK away from Rye House, he always ups his game when riding for Poole apparently
  10. so with the excess points and taking into account using Lambert's wouldn't it fit?
  11. my dad had a similar long chat in the hotel, he's also mighty cheesed off that he has a house he can't even go to!
  12. i still believe the GTR should have been aimed more towards the NL to get riders using the GTR, saving money (after the initial outlay though obviously) and using the engines throughout the levels. top riders are more unlikely to move as they will generally have so much more invested. one of the problems we have in the NL though was mentioned by Shale Searcher, why do you need spoke straws and all the bits a GP rider has at that level??
  13. Bacon & Grondal at reserve and Kennett in the team certainly has a strong look about it
  14. Denmark in a really difficult position at the moment, in a way very much how GB was a few years ago with riders that have been around a while, maybe on their way down, with no-one really coming through to take their place. At least here there are riders now good enough to give the manager a choice to make, and the future is certainly looking a lot healthier
  15. i still like the idea of having Bacon in the team, he's improving and he's scoring ok for his average. should always try to keep someone on the up
  16. i stay in Bristol do the pairs friday cardiff saturday, works perfect
  17. 4 massive screens above us, they showed all the replays the ref was seeing
  18. nothing to do with information from the club!! but i was in Warsaw for the practice friday and GP saturday and was talking to people
  19. it's more that Shanes is the one taking the blame for Poole's poor form
  20. i saw on social media he was visiting his mechanic building stuff up ready for the GP, so i expect him to ride
  21. the Pole won't be going anywhere Starman, mr Shovlar knows his stuff
