  2. all back in the days when riders weren't so keen to get out the country
  3. F1 is talking about doing races opposite way round on some tracks to add some variety and to get races done quick .. hope speedway bosses aren't listening
  4. so will we see a power struggle over who REALLY runs the sport?
  5. i'm sure at most tracks, with the crowds we get now, people will all be able to go as normal and still be 2 metres from anyone
  6. nice gesture, but unfortunately there are very few clubs that benefit from in stadium purchases these days

  9. i think the biggest problem the sport might face going forward is the need to work together .. i'm sure with some of the promoters working together is not necessarily in their nature
  10. i went to Wembley '81, LA '82, Norden '83, Gothenburg '84, Bradford '85, then Longtrack Final in Scheessel '95, and my favourite was the longtrack!! Tatum's first title after a runoff with Wigg, in front of all those Germans

  13. we seemed to find most of what we needed between Lidl, Aldi, and Tesco, including toilet roll at Lidl
  14. toilet roll shortage is annoying isn't it
  15. if it's a loan though how many of the current promoters will be prepared to take it on with an uncertain future?
  16. Championship 4TT (FINAL) Peterborough 2019 https://www.flickr.com/photos/the_womble/albums/72157713533909871/with/49674377422/
  17. twitter is usually a good way to get things done, they don't want negativity in such a visible media
  18. and if that were the case would the 500 limit include people in the pits as that would be 70+ people down on the 500 paying straight off
  19. didn't Smolinski use something similar in speedway a few years ago?
  20. i think if there was an issue it wouldn't be allowed in grass/longtrack, it looks good that's for sure
