MX at Mildenhall was due to run this weekend, but yesterday they were told to cancel it

but you had dealings with all of these riders and wrote about them in your time as speedway correspondent for the SLP .. by the way, Terry Mussett, Igor Plechanov, and Gary Sweet aren't in the picture so you should know them all

think i was on the centre for this and all i can remember is that helmet going and Colin's head is in it. his wife Sue took toilet roll around after that as she said she rubbish herself .. lovely couple

F1 is talking about doing races opposite way round on some tracks to add some variety and to get races done quick .. hope speedway bosses aren't listening

so will we see a power struggle over who REALLY runs the sport?

i'm sure at most tracks, with the crowds we get now, people will all be able to go as normal and still be 2 metres from anyone

nice gesture, but unfortunately there are very few clubs that benefit from in stadium purchases these days

i think the biggest problem the sport might face going forward is the need to work together .. i'm sure with some of the promoters working together is not necessarily in their nature

i went to Wembley '81, LA '82, Norden '83, Gothenburg '84, Bradford '85, then Longtrack Final in Scheessel '95, and my favourite was the longtrack!! Tatum's first title after a runoff with Wigg, in front of all those Germans
