  1. was Connor not on the rising star list because his average is too high or did he refuse the conditions and get blackballed?
  2. surely this is the sort of league that people would benefit having a GTR?
  3. when BWD first came over (Eastbourne??) wasn't that on a British Passport?
  4. well speedway at Peterborough and bangers at Kings Lynn has been mentioned when Buster took over at Boro
  5. awful news about IoW, one of the most progressive clubs out there.
  6. i'm thinking Exeter, Rye House, Eastbourne, Long Eaton??, Wimbledon
  7. never been to Plymouth but might just make a visit this year (if we can), Crump will be immense on a small track. i think dear old Colin Hill's legecy or part of it was used by the club years ago, so there's a piece of Exeter there
  8. only takes a bad day from one of them and things will soon balance out
  9. my dad wanted to get refunds for 7 tickets for this as they're now not going in August, looks like there was only a 2 week window (ended January 10th) for refunds though. not a lot of time for people to know about it
  10. if admission prices don't go down to a reasonable level then i'm concerned people will forego speedway. so many have been furloughed or lost their jobs in the last year, i think it may be asking a bit much to still be near £20 each
  11. unfortunately, i'd say finacially that has to be the way forward
  12. it's time those 'die hards' realised the situation British speedway is in
  13. who cares what its called or what the team makeup is, surely it's got be like this for the team sport to continue in GB?
  14. is Riss doing UK? i thought he was in Poland (2nd Div?) and going back to longtrack?
  15. remember watching Lewis with Ivan M when he was a kid, Ivan said if he cut out the wheelies he could be a very good rider .. wonder if he's now got the wheelies out of his system?
  16. i say give him a chance, he's British, he lives here, wait and see what the commitment is like before knocking him down
  17. could be just the time for British riders to start making a comeback .. riders that were previously shunned for europeans?
