  1. are the IOW going to run at amateur level so not 'paying' riders, but maybe prize money? i would think maybe the best option is riders without a BSPL contract, and you never know it could actually do both of the organisations the world of good, i.e still give track time and bring on young riders ready to move to a club
  2. i'm guessing it's the Iwade track that has been there for years as a training (and briefly league) track
  3. maybe they want to see how things go and what sort of impact it would have on the speedway first? wasn't Debbie the one that resigned from the BSPL management team? ominous for sure, but at the end of the day business is business, although tracks as good as Somerset are few and far between
  4. https://speedwaygp2021.seetickets.com/event/2021-adrian-flux-british-fim-speedway-grand-prix/cardiff/1435110?_ga=2.241120067.1354768264.1618499446-2008580586.1618499446 actually clicking to buy says tickets not available
  5. i'd suggest it was used as a practice, is Andersen still interested in GP's?
  6. fair play, if you're going to be in and you need info on vpn let me know
  7. i watch the GP's and SoN on my pc using a VPN making it look like i'm in another country, that way i can watch the Speedway GP website live coverage with no cuts to the studio but getting all the interviews with riders instead. it's the feed used on the big screens at the track. the VPN i use is free
  8. JC had some decent ideas, not all necessarily, but in the process i think it upset people because he wanted to change things. the theme nights at Kings Lynn seemed to work, and the super seven events under one banner was a good idea
  9. ahhh ok, don't get the star so didn't see it
  10. i remember there being some sort of squad system, didn't think it was that far back though. was it a way of using NL riders how they wanted?
  11. careful if you do get it, the cover might fall off
  12. mine was Wimbledon, Hackney, Canterbury, Rye House most weeks
  13. lots of benefits here .. Richard has been around speedway bikes long enough to help if needed elsewhere too i expect
  14. if he's working for Buster then it will just allow him to cover a larger area for both clubs
  15. unfortunately i think there are a fair number of secret "i told you so" on this forum, just to prove a point if things fail
  16. i do know that when buster rebuilt the stands at Kings Lynn he even had disabled people in to get extra advice
  17. looks similar to what Milton Keynes did with Elfield Park
  18. was Connor not on the rising star list because his average is too high or did he refuse the conditions and get blackballed?
  19. surely this is the sort of league that people would benefit having a GTR?
  20. when BWD first came over (Eastbourne??) wasn't that on a British Passport?
