  1. all clubs had the opportunity to build solid, some took advantage, some went top heavy
  2. the horse has already bolted on this one, we're much too far down the line to make any changes now
  3. can't believe people still pay out to watch the GPs or SoN when getting a free VPN allows you to watch the official Speedway GP youtube link, missing out on the studio stuff but seeing more rider interviews
  4. Flint is a good call, decent form right now probably have to wait for a rider to finish commitments in Poland for the new signing
  5. a lot of riders used to do their own servicing to save money, but i appreciate it's not always possible. sounds like the problem (and it's been like this for ever) is most senior riders keeping things close to their chest which is a shame. this is where the likes of Stead and Allen looking after the GB youngsters come into play, but it should also be down to senior riders in the team passing on this info, home or away, but many are too quick to want to get packed up and away
  6. i used to love the world finals, but i've grown to love the GPs. but, with the GPs i would prefer 20 heats and scores totalled at the end, no semi/finals, as gate positions always come into play and overall it should be about most points accumulated not someone sneaking into the semi's on 7 or 8 but walking away with 20 or whatever it is
  7. body language on the bike doesn't look to have the fight, but being left out of this might be the end of him ever riding for GB again
  8. speedway is rarity for me now, but when i've been the old excitement is there, from the racing to seeing people i know, a couple more meetings this year for me and i'm looking forward to them. if only more lapsed supporters gave it another go ...
  9. U21 team final (SoN/pairs) is at Bydgoszcz in september, that'll be good for them
  10. last time buster had to deal with something like this Batchelor & Holder were on their way
  11. watch it on catchup, that way you can fast forward the racing and watch the adverts
  12. with the right sort of guidance there's definitely a future, but they need to be riding on some of these continental tracks more often
  13. my pictures from Macon practice here >> https://www.flickr.com/photos/the_womble/albums/72157719710292221
  14. i hope Adam can put on a good show, one of the nice guys in the sport with talent too
  15. reminded me of Exeter (without the banking), used to plenty of grip there and they loved a large drop of water
  16. This was at an U23 meeting a couple of weeks ago, the racing was actually pretty good
