  1. Pearson is a much better rider on the European tracks, if he can bring that form to Birmingham he'll do ok
  2. if Pedersen rode in the UK, even now i'd have him down to get a higher average than Doyle
  3. European Pairs Final, Slangerup, Denmark 27.08.22 https://www.flickr.com/photos/the_womble/albums/72177720304587642
  4. yeah picked him up from there once when i took him to Somerset to guest for Kings Lynn, actually pulled over so he could chat to Jason Crump as he had got him his first deal in Poland
  5. no, seems a nice lad, everyone raving about him, just made a point of what i've seen
  6. SoN Semi Final 2 (PRACTICE) Vojens, Denmark https://www.flickr.com/photos/the_womble/albums/72177720304537664
  7. Sad news, but still stick with my assessment of Rew
  8. Poole v Edinburgh 01.06.22 https://www.flickr.com/photos/the_womble/albums/72177720304479577
  9. why the need to build to the points limit with riders you know won't improve, i'd rather be under with riders that have improvement in them and want to be at the club
  10. hasn't Manzares signed for a CH team but not announced anywhere yet?
  11. I looked at the result, and still stick with my assessment of Rew “seen him in a number of meetings in Poland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and in each he's had really bad rides and falls. good rider though, with a good style for a tall lad, but i'll stick to what i've seen”
  12. Don’t teams get priority on a rider they’ve had previous season?
  13. Thought he was in Bury st Edmunds, Suffolk?
  14. seen him in a number of meetings in Poland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and in each he's had really bad rides and falls. good rider though, with a good style for a tall lad, but i'll stick to what i've seen
  15. Rew is a good prospect, but if he comes in on 5 i think he may only up that slightly, inconsistence/falls may hold him back in '23
  16. Used to be a busy night in the bar when the team was announced, although sometimes things were given away when riders turned up in their van and parked it in clear sight
  17. Seen Rew a few times now, can be very up and down but certainly has talent. a tall lad so tighter tracks might be the problem
  18. SoN2 (U21) Vojens, Denmark 29.07.22 https://www.flickr.com/photos/the_womble/albums/72177720304064497
  19. wonder if clubs are looking at another Dane, someone like Juhl Pedersen, he'd do a decent job but no idea on his clubs
  20. told me he's packed in speedway and just doing grasstrack
  21. don't get drawn in to the lots of sponsors thinking, although he is meticulous with his kit. been let down with his engines this year which knocks confidence
  22. IF Harris goes to Glasgow you'll see a much different rider than you did last time around. Very good sponsor keeping check on his machinery allowing Bomber to just get out and race, he'll do well around that track with better machinery
