Ipswich v Belle Vue 13th April
stevehone replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What looked the reason for Rew’s fall? did mention pre season that I’ve seen him a number of times abroad and more often than not seems to have a random fall in meetings -
Could MT have fulfilled his promises if he hadn’t be thwarted ….
-
The other side of that is, was MT keen until he got dumped on with team decisions? Has he walked away?
-
Questioning loyalty
-
Looking around at comments on social media, I wonder if Andersen is on his way out too
-
If that’s the real reason I’d be very surprised

Poole v Oxford - Good Friday

Especially when he wore his “high six” t-shirt I expect -
Wasn’t Mark Courtney involved at some point?
-
Maybe KK at Kings Lynn is using it ….

i do love the Polish tracks but in Poznan last year i witnessed an awful dustbowl that after a few races had to be watered after EVERY heat! Bewley still got the track record that day though
-
the thing i'm wondering at this point, is what sort of rift might have been created within the club, who are the riders behind, management, owner, or sponsor, and what is the relationship like between those running the club? how much damage could infighting potentially do the club as a whole, as it's easy to lose trust but incredibly difficult to build it again

Oxford v Poole 5/4/23 BSN Series
stevehone replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
another tight one Friday, Nicholls Kerr and Masters all go well at Poole -
his Polish team won't like Nicki taking the chance of getting hurt in the UK, and as their investment is higher than Peterborough i guess they call the shots

hopefully they replace Rowe with Roynon in heat 11 and put in Newman for Roynon in 14 -

one of Kerr's better tracks too -
will be interesting to see how many bonus points Bomber gets this year to keep his average down and guest bookings up .. to be fair, i don't blame him, make the most of it while it's there, Tom Topinka used to do it at Kings Lynn and he was much in demand for a guest spot
-
weather looking ideal for this, and after Wednesday we could get an idea how things will pan out .. top heavy or strength in depth
-
If they didn’t change it then no one would ever have a testimonial in this day and age

Pre Meeting Practice - Why not?
stevehone replied to Najjer's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Kings Lynn did the flying lap thing before the meeting a few years ago, didn’t last long though, don’t know if the riders didn’t want it or the authorities, but it gave all riders a chance to try out the track which isn’t a bad thing -
wonder if Fraser Bowes would be available? or Bastian Borke?
