  1. solid white fence means it could be Odsal but looks a bit too built up.. Kevin H could be right here..
  2. i still think Rickarsson could turn out and win the meeting and even the title... an off day for JC and NP is all it needs. TR will be in the first round of races so will have the track well and truly weighed up so this could play into his hands. If it was a permanent track i would say he had no chance but it is one of the unpredictable ones so you never know....
  3. - Well done Steve !! Bird thinks Honey is older than he says or his dad is helping him well i think maybe you are jealous of my knowledge.... if it was 60s and 70s riders it would be his thing, but the 80s is my era. and Eric Monaghan was riding in the 90s too...
  4. Steve - either that was a complete and utter guess or you are a superior being from another planet. I salute you - see pic #32. Falcace - pass him the anorak i could say it was sheer genius and i recognised him by the way he doesn't bend the peak on the cap.... or it was a complete guess.... you decide (but then how many would have got Eric Monaghan?)
  5. 27 is deffo Tom Owen.... quality rider
  6. 20...Jamie Habbin??????? is it Sigalos in white in 21???(although unlikely) got an Alan Belham fork cover so probably a local rider...(with long hair)
  7. 23 is Wigg, Mel Taylor and Nielsen
  8. never heard of A&E but i knew STP stickers on his Arai helmet!!
  9. is 17 Shawn Moran? seem to recall he had a lot of STP sponsorship... is it Phil Collins in white in 18? 22 is 'rmaction' (R.Miller) on the right
  10. i went along to Wembley 81, LA 82, then to Norden 83 each time rooting for Carter to see so near yet so far each time... after Norden in 83 (with the Wimbledon coach) we went to Amsterdam for the big meeting there where we were trying to get Sanders to come and ride for Wimbledon and he actually seemed pretty keen... there had already been lots of speculation at that time anyway.
  11. i thought Billy Sanders was more likely in 1983.... i'm sure he was one of the hot favourites
  12. and i had such a good reply to that.... maybe just too rude for posting here
  13. oh i'm shaking....... not
  14. photo 2 is Moran & Jessup number 5 looks like Doug Wyer but don't know if he rode for Newcastle
