i thought Wilson was one of the more exciting riders out there and was prepared to battle for his points ... certainly the best Englishman on the track yesterday! no idea what his average is, but would he fit in to Rye House as a short term replacement for Robson??

was good to see False dawn out there in the sidecars ... he had a couple of bumpy rides, as well as trying to mount the fence from the start but we were suitably impressed ... took plenty of photos of them too!

when i saw your post saying you'd been i said to shooting star i wish i'd known you were going, would have come to say hi.

well shooting star and me thought it a very enjoyable afternoon (albeit rather chilly when the sun wasn't out) and very good value for money. there was some good racing, mostly from P'boro riders once they'd missed the gate, and the race of the day had to be Jensen's last to first in the final ... fantastic ride. presentation was well done, and despite the rain coming down on a couple of occasions it seemed to go very smoothly. Glad for Sullivan that the meeting went ahead, and i hope he had a really good day to remember. will have some pictures online soon.
