  1. i WANT to see lots of things happen in speedway, but hey, such is life. if the fans WANT to see Mark ride, maybe they'll tell him to sign the forms next time
  2. think the line-up just about sums up how poor British speedway is if this is the British final
  3. have a look for yourself .... http://www.speedwayplus.com/speedwayplus4.pdf page 13, but the magazines are a very good read.
  4. all the British riders talk about is making the semi why??? it gets you no extra points .... the only point it does make is the level of ambition from British riders
  5. what world title is Shovlar going to win???
  6. he may not be on until later, he's still crying into his 'Lindback is the greatest' hat. completely shown up tonight ... 4 ducks and didn't look like he deserved any better.
  7. well he will just say that Hancock, Crump, N Pedersen, Zagar, Hampel, Adams, Gollob, and Nicholls were all lucky to be there in the semi. personally, i'd just say that Rickardsson was crap.
  8. quack quack blimey ... a couple of ducks
  9. are you trying to say that Mildenhall 'track staff' are given dusters instead of rakes?
  10. there's about 270 pictures from the practise ... you bloody look!!! **EDIT** just had a look ... nope, sorry
  11. and you even got to be start marshall for the afternoon
  12. no need, ship them out to Mildenhall so they don't progress in the PT erm ... Meowww and basically, i don't really care ... just hope you keep hold of Brundle as long as you like
  13. Team Man was doing the filming, might be worth waiting to see what he posts ... not sure if he was filming for micman or not but i expect so.
  14. i certainly feel sorry for Jason King if he doesn't progress ... he had a problem with his bike before his first race started and had to switch to his Mildenhall bike for the rest of the meeting and rode superbly to rattle off 3 straight wins. Wilson was fantastic ... when he won, he won convincingly, and was riding very very well. Danny King looked good too and i'm very pleased he progresses. Bridger was the excitement for the evening, riding lines that even Topinka wouldn't ride trying to go round people. he certainly looked good in the practise once he got his bike sorted out.
  15. lots of pictures from the practise can be found HERE and not so many from the meeting can be found HERE
  16. been to the practise this afternoon ... track looks good (a little grippy for one or two on the start though ). i suppose if i had money on the winner tonight it would come from Kennett, Bridger (if he sorts his bike out), Wright, or Barker. i took plenty of pictures but will put them on my webshots tonight.
  17. have you ever had a go in a go-kart? if so, think how bumpy it was on the track ... then think what it might have been like going round the track in a car with suspension. there's your difference
  18. grasstrack bikes have a good suspension, and i think a longer wheelbase and a 22" rear wheel. maybe something you need to think about also is that a lot of the riders from a few years ago that were prepared to ride on less than perfect tracks were former grasstrack riders ... don't seem to get that too often these days do you.
  19. do you still stand by that statement even though Crump beat Rickardsson TWICE? if that's the case, and Crump didn't ride well enough to be in the final, maybe your hero didn't deserve to be there either
