  1. quite excited by this meeting ... what i'm looking forward to is seeing riders being pitched together that wouldn't ride against eachother week in week out ... you have riders from different leagues, different levels, and those without a team, and hopefully they will get out there and put on a real good show. i enjoy going to KL each week but to a certain degree you know what you are going to get, this meeting takes it beyond that to a whole new level really. as long as the riders all turn up with a good racing attitude it will be a good meeting. and as long as the promotion have extra elastic now Allott is in the line-up
  2. and to give people an idea of what it will be like, look at the pictures in the links .. HERE for the Polish stadium .. HERE for the Swedish one .. and HERE for Reading if people look at these pictures what story does it tell about the venue?
  3. heard good things about the Pasta King outlet ... might even try one on Wednesday evening. come on chaps, miss out on your tea, get to the NA early, and get in the Pit Stop Cafe or the Pasta King for something to eat
  4. Mike Bennett is back on Wednesday Mark Jones looked ok after a shaky start ... only saw him out with Tim Warnes though so will certainly be interesting on Wednesday.
  5. end of term looming ... think about it, 2 late nights in one week and he'll be extra tired at the weekend
  6. what's wrong with you semion, get yourselves down to the NA on Wednesday, should be a good meeting ... looking forward to seeing Bridger ride there again, was certainly the most exciting rider in the British U21 earlier in the season, seemed to have no fear whatsoever which is a good way to ride Kings Lynn. also looking forward to seeing Mark Jones in competitive action ... seen him after the meeting, but want to see how he does against 3 others.
  7. i wonder who that could be you'll have to keep an eye out in the royal box
  8. seems Adam Allott is now going to be riding instead of Cameron Woodwood
  9. i thought there were some made up a short time ago when there was talk of the team re-appearing ... sure i spotted them at Kathy Pope's last time i went there.
  10. you could be right, i don't think they'll make the final either
  11. you might find it's apathy because even if you had the very strongest line-up for the meeting it still looks poor.
  12. Jonsson 3 3 2 2 3 Moran 1 3 3 3 3 Wiltshire 3 3 2 1 3 Nielsen 3 1 3 2 2 Nilsen 2 1 2 3 2 Gustafsson 3 2 3 0 1 Tatum 2 3 0 3 1 Castagna F 2 1 3 2 Miller 2 2 3 1 X Knight 1 2 1 2 1 Dugard 2 0 1 0 3 Matousek 1 R 0 2 2 Adorjan 1 R 0 1 0 Tesar 0 0 2 0 R Correy 0 1 X 1 0 Kasper 0 1 1 0 0 i make it 19 3rd places, and 21 last (or unplaced) so only 3 finishers in one race (the 5th round of races, heat 17 - 20)
  13. after saying all that, i still think Richardson and to a lesser extent Nicholls, are NOT good enough for the GP, thats why we have to be looking to the future now ... all Nicholls goes on about is making the semi finals!!! why?? he will still only finish on his 7 or 8 ... Scott, if you read this, WANT TO MAKE A FINAL and WIN Richardson ... sorry, rather see Stead in his place, and i don't think it's too far away. LR is just not good enough for the GP circus. if it wasn't for internal politics, GB would have no representatives in the GP next year ... just how sad is that.
  14. exactly ... the chance to ride on the big continental tracks has to be one of the biggest tests they can have.
  15. Chris, look at this ... i said what i said as a reminder to you about how it started, hoped you might think about it ... spose i was wrong. never mind ... i'll play the game as long as you want
  16. oh dear, blame tango man Russell, the Rye House Promoter ... but i couldn't give a monkeys really who did it, it's about British speedway and making sure WE ALL have a future, not just your favourite club, or Chris slagging Kings Lynn again
  17. nothing whatsoever to do with 'my team', (although i know how you like to slag them off at the first opportunity ) it's more to do with the future of the sport in the UK ... i've been watching or involved in the sport for a number of years and want to see Britain get back to being either at the top, or near the top, of the speedway tree. if Chris as a Rye House fan can't understand that then i will just have to throw words at you that you might understand ... Peter Schroek, Jens Rasmussen ... remember them? remember the impact they had on the National League? remember the 'free-for-all' after that? so lay off the Kings Lynn rubbish that you constantly spout, and think about the sport as a whole. old son
  18. and it's attitudes like that make me realise why British speedway is in the state it is.
  19. why shouldn't he bow out in the semis, it's all he talks about getting to. i suppose once he's there the fight has gone. one day someone will tell him he needs to make the final as thats where the points are
  20. was he on holiday after the last GP too .... maybe his holidays after each of the last 2 GP's is to go and mop the brows and be a shoulder to cry on for Rickardsson and Lindback. can't wait till the 'ginger whinger' gets back.
  21. Peter Collins in his prime was awesome ... Kenny Carter was 100% English and dedicated to the cause ... he would battle for 4 laps, never give up, and was a fantastic entertainer. Starman2006, are you trying to say Peter Collins and Kenny Carter were 'gating tarts' oh dear oh dear
