thats ok nevs, i'll give the shale a miss ... i think i still have some on my leathers
still wondering if the next stadium to be pulled down will be Plough Lane ... lots of great memories of there too
might be worth getting in touch with Derek, the Mildenhall photographer ... he would have taken pictures of everyone.
i went to take pictures of the meeting but also to get plenty of the Bennett/Rogers clash.
posted by Mimmo ...
MATCH RACES
1) Gordon Bennett beat Roy Rogers (EF) 81.03
2) Gordon Bennett beat Roy Rogers 92.59
and cheers for the extra towards the fund semion, just wish i could have had some practise before going round yesterday.
it was Colin Cage from Norwich New Stars Grasstrack, former Mildenhall rider too.
for me getting on the track it was over £100 raised which i am really pleased with, and many thanks to Wayne Dunworth for everything.
and rhidassa, you better remind your old man to pay up on Wednesday
should be an interesting meeting ...
normally you go into individual meetings thinking there's 3 or 4 that could win (and that includes GP's), but in this one tonight it could come down to 7 or 8, or even more.
the possibilities in my view are
Nermark
Topinka
Holder
Doolan
Bridger
Lanham
Woodward
Wright
there's even a couple more that could spring a suprise.
