  1. when there's a speedway meeting in Poland, the cameramen always pick out some good looking women ... obviously nothing to choose from at Reading
  2. bit like yourself with most of your posts then... bet you daren't make those sort of comments to the likes of Danny and Jason King's mechanic, now that I would like to see....
  3. so basically you're saying if Team GB come either second or third then that's a huge victory? if they come in second they're losers, if they come in third then it just makes them second best to the losers. typical British attitude, if we can't win then second or third will do. but then again all captain Scott Nicholls can talk about during GP interviews is his hope of making the semis....
  4. all i'm hoping is that we don't have the earth tremor we had just before heat 21 on Thursday
  5. getting mighty p1ssed off with Sky now ... why keep on showing replay after replay of the starts when there's action going on further in the race ... they're just trying to show people it's all over by the 1st bend!!
  6. the tracks are never prepared how the GB riders want it ... this is something i find ludicrous. when its in Poland or Denmark or Sweden, the natives will know exactly how it will be and they will have had input. when it's in the UK it's still down to a Dane to sort it so you know what you're going to get. remember last time when Havelock, Loram etc were beaten before they even went out on the track because the British track was set up completely the opposite to what they requested!!!
  7. i think you'll find Ole Olsen will have far too much say in the preparation so expect a very slick track. this sort of track will suit the Danes down to the ground and have to be favourites.
  8. didn't think there would be much call for it at your age
  9. start on Scott Nicholls constantly talking about making a semi in the GP's ... why's that, you need to talk about WINNING.
  10. so is the SGP ... and Olsen sets the track up exactly as he wants i.e slick
  11. better make it the Union Jack, otherwise you'll have the Scots and the Welsh down your throat for Team GB
  12. wherever Kennett goes, lets hope the track isn't a big one.
  13. and to give people an idea of what it will be like, look at the pictures in the links .. HERE for the Polish stadium .. HERE for the Swedish one .. and HERE for Reading if people look at these pictures what story does it tell about the venue?
  14. i thought there were some made up a short time ago when there was talk of the team re-appearing ... sure i spotted them at Kathy Pope's last time i went there.
  15. you could be right, i don't think they'll make the final either
  16. Jonsson 3 3 2 2 3 Moran 1 3 3 3 3 Wiltshire 3 3 2 1 3 Nielsen 3 1 3 2 2 Nilsen 2 1 2 3 2 Gustafsson 3 2 3 0 1 Tatum 2 3 0 3 1 Castagna F 2 1 3 2 Miller 2 2 3 1 X Knight 1 2 1 2 1 Dugard 2 0 1 0 3 Matousek 1 R 0 2 2 Adorjan 1 R 0 1 0 Tesar 0 0 2 0 R Correy 0 1 X 1 0 Kasper 0 1 1 0 0 i make it 19 3rd places, and 21 last (or unplaced) so only 3 finishers in one race (the 5th round of races, heat 17 - 20)
  17. why shouldn't he bow out in the semis, it's all he talks about getting to. i suppose once he's there the fight has gone. one day someone will tell him he needs to make the final as thats where the points are
  18. was he on holiday after the last GP too .... maybe his holidays after each of the last 2 GP's is to go and mop the brows and be a shoulder to cry on for Rickardsson and Lindback. can't wait till the 'ginger whinger' gets back.
  19. yep, will this be 2 GP's on the trot that Shovlar conveniently avoids posting about? especially with Lindback being so brilliant
  20. have a look for yourself .... http://www.speedwayplus.com/speedwayplus4.pdf page 13, but the magazines are a very good read.
