King's Lynn vs Peterborough. Thursday July 25th
bsamann replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So can you enlighten us, that don't attend after the meeting, the reasoning for the grippy tracks and why the large numbers of visiting riders continually fail to come to terms with it ? -
They're mates apparently

Told you so

His gating was fine till he hurt his wrist which appeared to be his left, clutch, wrist so don't get where you're coming from, like everyone else on here knock the best talent for 10years and wonder why they turn their back on British speedway. If you want a substitute team manager Colin Pratt apparently lives close by and attends regularly ask him to help out.

If the track last night had been prepared properly it would have been a comfortable win for Lynn, unfortunately the track put doubt in too many minds, then with all the off track problems total confusion. The Poole management obviously saw this and probably said carry on, get on with it get to heat 12 and we can call it as the Lynn riders don't want it,we could get a point, however they probably couldn't believe their luck as Lynn went into melt down with riders and management arguing and imploding, so all they basically had to do was get to the tapes and the meeting was won, good for Poole, bad for Lynn and an absolute disaster for speedway, no amount of talking or writing will put this one to bed.

I was fortunate enough to be able to watch the official final day practice at belle vue in 2016 and I observed all the teams and managers in action the poles were very professional and went about there business sharing information and talking a lot to each other and marek cieslak had a stop watch and timed all his riders while they were on track, but interestingly, he also timed all the other riders in the other teams I did not see this level of professionalism in any of the other teams including team gb -

So as far as you,re concerned, a rider who at 15 was more or less unbeatable in the national league, who at the age of 16 went straight into the elite league, proper, not as a cheating reserve, has progressed to a heat leader and often is the only rider at kings Lynn to excite the crowd, has ridden in two world cup teams, got a bronze medal in the world under 21, current British under 21 champion, finished 3rd in 2016 British final, has emerged from a rider relying on the bank of mum and dad to be a self financing independent adult all at the tender age of 19 according to you is stagnating. I think you need a reality check. He is probably the one rider at King's Lynn that actually gets people through the gate and not your so called better more experienced riders. -

Have a look at the standard in Denmark he's ridden against average premier league standard with a decent heat leader thrown in still not convinced purely on Denmark figures small tracks not big fast ones like lynn where you need to be on it to do well -

bsamann replied to Bagpuss's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
unfortunately as it is now concrete on the track centre the cost would be prohibitive a sad fact is the shape is here to stay whereas if it was grass it would not be difficult to reshape the bends and shorten the straights aka ipswich -

I think everyone should stop banging on about how poor the racing and track is at lynn and use their brains and work out for themselves what the problem in general is, the engines have developed too fast for the tracks but the speed they mostly attain is straight line speed so long straights create bigger gaps between riders the new silencers have seriously affected outside line speed as the grippier shale sucks the horsepower out of the engine this leads to all top riders making sure they stick to the inside line for the first few races then move out as the inside becomes slicker and you always get a bit better racing at the end of a meeting as the temperature drops and the engines delop more horsepower and grunt and can then produce more racing lines simples -
Great to see the unbelievable talent that is robert lambert has made kings lynn his preferential choice for his introduction to the english speedway scene

If you lot stop and think for a minute if the four falls had resulted in their expected scores we would have got ten more points from four seconds one a joker we would have lost by three points and everone would say how unlucky we were we have to learn from this and move on you cant afford falls and zeros in this standard give the youngsters a chance to gain the experience necessary be consistant from management and things can only get better
