Not good news Derek Maybe Mildenhall could step in and offer a round of this Championship, maybe a word hey

If it is brilliant and i'll be defo be there, much better idea than the individual format imo

Surely there are enough eligible riders who want to take part to allow a third qualifying event It cannot be right that the likes of Isherwood, Wrathall, Garrity etc are being overlooked! I'm sure if the opportunity arose Mildenhall would show interest in hosting a meeting of this type.

Quite glad I started this thread now Its only early february and we have six known dates, at four known tracks, four riders in Owen, Kirby, Morris and Howarth taking part and maybe the potential for one or two more rounds to be added. This could be the best year for the U15 Championship for some time U15 Championship 2009 Adam Kirby Marc Owen Ashley Morris Kyle Howarth Any others please add

I know many will think Im insane to bring up this subject in February , possibly better to mention it in late May However I was wondering if a) there would be a championship this season b ) with the rather small NL was any consideration being given to having more rounds as these meetings would imo be excellent fixture fillers, and give the youngsters more varied experience of different tracks. c) how many rounds there were likely to be d) possible entrants for the 2009 series

Norbold, I see on this thread that it is continuly stated that entry to the park and museum is free next Sunday, however I see in the advert in this weeks Speedway Star that entry is free with the advert in the Star. There are 5 of us heading down from Mildenhall, 4 adverts and 1 child, could you please confirm what it the correct situation, as we do not want to turn up with out 5 speedway star advert's and end up being asked for £75! Totally agree Silver Bee, one of the best meetings I've seen in 30+ years of watching speedway! Be madness to move it anywhere else.

Me too Rabbit, there will be some Mildenhall support making the journey down Not sure about SS comment ' a very strong line up', but it is decent for the time of year and importantly for his type of meeting the riders looked pretty evenly matched so it should be entertaining and competitive

Totally agree Rabbit, looks a decent field of pretty equally matched riders, if the remainder are of similiar ability/quality it should all add up to an good afternoons racing .
