Top six round scores to count for each rider £9!!! What a bargain! I see the riders are shown in age order above, does anyone know the actual riding order ?
  2. Thats good to hear, Tom really impressed at Kings Lynn the other saturday and the sunday before at Mildenhall. Already has a fan in my daughter
  3. I think its five from each round, with the three 6th placed riders racing off for the final place, dont quote me though
  4. Tom was due to be in the 2nd half at Mildenhall on Sunday, but heard he had taken a knock. Hopefully this will not prevent him from taking his place in Saturdays line up!
  5. Yes indeed a great experience for Brendan! Will be watching with interest friday
  6. Well said Scunny Stag, I'd too heard that there were more competitors now Looking forward to this meeting following our match against Scunthorpe on Saturday and hearing the line ups in due course.
  7. Agree 110% wrong track for this meeting imo! Would much prefer it at say Peterborough, Scunthorpe, Coventry, as Chris rightly points out the surface and tightness of track meant alot of the riders were not competitive which is a real shame at such an important event. Fully deserved win by Bridger, by far the best rider on show.
  8. Kings Lynn 21 Chris Widman 2 2 3 = 7 Liam Rumsey 0 3 2 = 5+1 Rhys Naylor 2 2 1 = 5+2 Tom Stokes 1 1 2 = 4+2 Scunthorpe 15 Ashley Morris 3 3 3 3 = 12 Montana Jowett 1 0 1 0 = 2 Jack Hirst DNR Jordan Tyrer 0 1 f = 1 Heat 1 Morris Widman Jowett Rumsey 2-4 2-4 66.31 Heat 2 Morris Naylor Stokes Tyrer 3-3 5-7 66.06 Heat 3 Rumsey Naylor Tyrer Jowett 5-1 10-8 70.40 Heat 4 Morris (15mtrs) Widman Stokes 3-3 13-11 66.59 Heat 5 Widman Rumsey Jowett Tyrer (f) 5-1 18-12 67.22 Heat 6 Morris Stokes Naylor Jowett 3-3 21-15 66.47 Very enjoyable second half of which Ashley Morris was the undoubted star, fast times ona slick track and a brilliant pair of passes in heat 4 when off 15 mtrs for a tapes touching offence. Tom Stokes and Liam Rumsey showed alot of promise as did Jordan Tyrer who unfortunately fell when second in his last ride, but showed improvement in each of his races.
  9. Thanks for that SS , 3pm is much better for travelling fans and riders I'd imagine, well it certainly is for me On another tack I see the Newport meeting is May 23rd Which is the Newport/BSPA site is correct means speedway three days running at Newport as they are due to ride Workington on 24th in the PL and the Isle Of Wight on 25th in the NL! I'm surprised that the U15 round doesnt form part of a double header with one of the other metings purely on a cost basis
  10. Hi Neil Is this confirmed only 5 in the 500cc competition? I know when this thread started there were in the region of 12-15 names suggested as possible entrants, surprised that more are not taking part.
  11. Thats a shame, makes for a late one for travelling supporters! At least there is no curfew so we should get a full Championship round! looking forward to both meetings should be an excellent nights speedway Scunthorpe v Tranmere!! what a strange choice of an afternoon out

Top man! and well done to to Kyle, see you both at Lakeside next friday
  13. I see it is Scunthorpe v Mildenhall in the NL followed by the 1st round of the U15 Championships on Saturday May 2nd, start time tbc! Will certainly be making the trip now
  14. Yes I think thats right Neil, also it was Sam Heath , not Hurst who rode. But thanks for the info everyone
  15. Unfortunately the charming coffee seller at Rye managed to throw a cup all over my programme So I'd be grateful if anyone has the heat details, times and scorers as mine are unreadable. Also Brendan Freemantles solo times would be appreciated Cheers
  16. Cheers. was looking for full heat details though if anyone has them
  17. Certainly hope there is a round at Kings Lynn Steven101, be good to have a couple of rounds relatively close to travel to (KL & Scunny)! Hopefully next year Mildenhall will put themselves forward for a round.
  18. Excellent common sense approach to the situation some of these lads find themselves in Rob Of course by applying common sense you know the likelihood of it being taken on board by the sports administrators as a proposal is Nil
  19. Tas, the race jackets from Crump, Sitera, Auty and Barker are I believe being auctioned off in the bar under the stand after the Coventry v Belle Vue meeting tomorrow night.
  20. Well done, 5 minutes to post the first April fools joke
  21. I am after the following programmes in mint uncompleted condition if anyone can help please 2004 U15 Championship rounds at Weymouth Armadale Sittingbourne Camarthen Sheffield 2005 U15 Championship rounds at Buxton 01/05 Armadale 28/05 Weymouth 30/05 Scunthorpe 03/07 Newport 14/08 Sheffield 22/09 Also wanted are the completed records for each of these meetings, if anyone is able to copy their completed score cards from the programme and send to me I d be most grateful, more than happy to cover costs. Also require the completed score cards from the Junior Meeting held at Lakeside on Friday 21st September 2007 and the Junior U16 3TT at Stoke on Saturday 31st? May 2008 PM if you can help Thanks
  22. Lets hope so! I was really looking forward to this, but have to say after 4 races I couldn't watch anymore, camera quality was very poor and the chopping and changing of angles was annoying at best. With the track being so small surely one camera could have filmed the whole race?
