For Heeps as I understand it.

As it happens Mildenhall are now using their own asset Aaron Baseby, good to see Aaron back in Fen Tiger colours. Should be an interesting and close meeting, certainly no easy ride for the Fen Tigers, hopefully we can pick up a win! Will the Raiders line up the same as they did Saturday evening?
-
As has been said aboveit is not now Ash Morris, but second string! Excellent young rider who performed very well at Mildenhall and Dudley in our NS matches beating Cameron on the way to two very good scores
-
Thankfully the weather looks better now for Monday, on the BBC website it suggests rain clearing away first thing. Should be an excellent double header and Mildenhall certainly will find The Raiders tough opponents, especially with Joe and Cameron missing. I think Ashley Morris is the guest on monday, not sure what he is like around Rye? Hope Uncle Len doesn't go for a too early call off, what with both teams and supporters being fairly local.

Any news on a new date for the IoW fixture yet Mike?

From the Official Mildenhall webite The Fen Tigers have suffered a new injury blow, with the in-form Joe Jacobs ruled out for the next four to five weeks, after suffering two hairline fractures to his left wrist in the National League Shield defeat at Dudley on Tuesday night. He was injured after crashing in the opening heat, leaving the following James White-Williams with nowhere to go. "It was a racing accident and just one of those unfortunate things," said Tigers' co-promoter Chris Louis. "It's a shame for us and Joe, as he has been on great form since the start of the season, culminating in his brilliant performance against Rye House last Sunday." Mildenhall will operate rider replacement for Jacobs when Stoke visit West Row in the National League on Sunday. They've also completed the signing of teenager Joe Graver on a short term deal to cover for injured reserve Josh Bates as he continues to recover from damaged shoulder tendons. Louis added, "Joe has been impressive in the AJL for the Fen Tigers Cubs, but what really stood out, was the way he rode for Rye House against the senior team last week. He was on the racing pace and we are confident he'll be a great stand-in for Josh." Meanwhile, skipper Lewis Blackbird is looking forward to taking on the Potters, who had their double hopes dashed by the Fen Tigers last season. "Being pushed so hard by the Raiders last week was a real wake up call. In the end, for some of us it was an afternoon to forget, and I am just be grateful we still had enough in the tank to get all three points again." Blackbird continued, "We will have to be back to our best against Stoke, especially now that Joe (Jacobs) will be missing. They are looking strong again this year and we all know what Ashley Birks and Jaimie Pickard are capable of at West Row, so there is no way we can be even the slightest bit complacent." Sunday's match starts at 4.30pm with the gates opening at 3pm. Not sure what you mean about the refereeing in heat two? Both decisions seemed the only ones he could have made to be fair. Although the track was dififcult to start with, as often is the case it is the home side that finds the change in usual conditions a bigger problem than the visitors. Once it settled there was some good racing and Rye HOuse fully played their part. Jacobs pass on Sargeant in heat six was brilliant and Heeps was in unstoppable form. Nathan Stoneman also rode very well having to take seven rides in the heat following Josh Bates injury scoring a fully deserved paid 11. Hopefully Lewis is ok after a nasty fall on his comeback and Josh makes a quick recovery. Also Hazelden who looked to have a particularly nasty fall in heat 11.

Congratulations to young Fen Tiger Cub Joe Graver who has been called up by the Rye House Raiders to cover for Tom Braddock who unfortunately is injured. Good luck on your NL debut. Mildenhall 1. You certainly do no credit to your team or your more evenminded fellow supporters with your attacks on other clubs on here, especially Buxton! Remember that self praise is no praise, and your odd obsession with going on about your 'big' support is similair to many football teams that claim to be big clubs/big support but languish in the lower leagues. If you could only see the reality you haven't stepped back, you have been given the chance by your promotion to rise again, enjoy the ride! -
Phillips looked alright at Mildenhall on Sunday, as did Clegg. I believe Sunday was their NL debuts so they need to be given time surely. I think you may be right about Phillips bike Montie, if memory serves he laid his bike down when Nathan Stoneman fell in front of him in heat 7, and there was a collision.

Thanks Bryn

I am sure the 'usuals' will Vog, but that was a fine result without Birks, Pickard and with Ritchie Worrall only scoring 7 from 6! Reade is flying at the moment, and Ross Walter's win in heat 13 over the Worralls and Hart must have been some ride! Thats what happens when your Team Manager spends his Sunday with the Mildenhall gang

Does anyone have the full heat details for this meeting please? Apologies Bryn just seen them above, thanks -
Robert Lambert certainly is a talent, it would never surprise me if he rode in Germany again next year and then goes straight into the PL

As Adz said above Excellent 2nd half as well today, AJL Match with the Fen Tiger Cubs victorious 26-10, plus seven match races with plenty of very promising youngsters on show. All in all 28 races in 2 and a quarter hours, Mildenhall speedway is certainly going in the right direction under this promotion!
