  1. There was irony in your post? sorry must have missed it
  2. I agree LW and i've pretty much said that early on in this thread and got slaughtered for it and got thrown the "there are 2 riders lying critically ill and you condone that?" bollo**s
  3. Totally agree mate. The incident was a storm in a tea cup but of course it gave the anti-Andersen brigade another excuse to slaughter him. Nobody batted an eyelid about the "incident" except Nicholls and lets be honest here, he throws his toys out of the pram most weeks
  4. What the hell are the 2 riders lying critcally ill got to do with it? who else other than Nicholls got there knickers in a twist about that race? did the referee throw Hans out of the race and slap him with a fine for dangerous riding? did the GB team manager lodge a complaint? the fact remains it was all blown out of proportion simply because it was Hans Andersen, pathetic
  5. Absolute rubbish, of course if Nicholls had played the Hans part and rode it exactly as Hans did then of course there would have been nothing wrong with it
  6. Where was the dangerous riding? your surely not talking about the Nicholls/Andersen race!!??
  7. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with not shaking his hand mate thats his perogitive, but Tatum was claiming that Scott offered his hand and Hans threw it away which wasn't the case at all, pure bias. I didn't see anything too wrong with Hans in that race, he was the one in front of Scott until he passed him so he was within his rights to pick his lines. Don't get me wrong, i want GB to win as much as anyone but the bias from everybody is unbelievable
  8. And here we go with the Hans bashing again everyone including the commentators are so biased its untrue, even Kelvin piped up that Scott offered his hand and Hans threw it away when in actual fact it was the other way around!! Hans Andersen 2 times GP winner, Nicholls serial GP bottler
  9. Mark should call their bluff, tell them to include him in the GB Championship or he will not ride in the world cup. I'd bet my last pound the BSPA would grant him entry in a heartbeat
  10. Marks Polish team (and Robert Miskowiaks for that matter) had a re-arranged fixture last saturday. Miskowiak chose to ride for his polish club leaving Ipswich to replace him with a premier league reserve, while Mark was "prepared to put his English commitments first" and take his place for Ipswich at Eastbourne
  11. Daniel King should win this with Steve Boxall his main threat as he's been in superb form so far this season
  12. of course it was he was interviewd a few races after the heat and he didn't say he had bike problems, just that he would make changes for his next ride
  13. just going off topic for a quick second to talk about one of the heats we did get to see, fantastic ride from Mark Loram going from last to second including a terrific move on home track specialist BP. Not bad considering Nicki Pedersen said it was "impossible to pass". Is there any wonder why Loram is so popular? still an absolute joy to watch
  14. I see people are putting forward ideas for new venues for the re-staging. How about Arena? excellent race track and first class facilities
  15. I think the majority of us would love to see Mark win, the problem he is having though is every track up and down the country seems to be having problems preparing a decent track surface with most being very slick. The days when there was plenty of dirt being thrown on the track are long gone which obviously is going to hurt Mark more than most. Having said that, brandon was supposed to be pretty grippy on friday which also showed in the track times so hopefully this could set a trend
  16. you will probably get pretty good odds on Hans Andersen, looking very quick, started the season well and has a liking for the poole track
  17. pepe started the season behind both Chris Louis and Mark Loram in the averages so he doesn't get the nod which is a huge shame, on current form he would have been a dark horse in my opinion as he's started the season like a house on fire
