One of the 3 Coventry boys will have to go Well done Bomber, fast becoming my favourite rider and looks the only rider capable of filling Mark Lorams boots in the entertaining stakes. Also a very well done to David Howe another good lad who's improved big style this year and deserves his wild card.

A good showing from young Zielinski who beat Jagus twice. We had him over at Foxhall for press and practice and he looked a terrific prospect. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in Witches colours next season

And Robert Miskowiak has now been withdrawn too so Kim Jansson joins Chris Louis instead

No i must admit i didn't like my posts quoted either. The only thing i was responding to was SCB saying "what have the BSPA done to stop Belle Vue entering". Belle Vue won't be entering BECAUSE of the competition rules set by the BSPA its as simple as that. Yes i know what he is saying, the rules have been made and because of those rules Belle Vue don't fit the criteria so they're not in it which you can't argue with, thats also a fact. What i don't agree with is saying its not the BSPA'S fault that they are not in it, of course it is. Its an Elite league pairs competition and as Belle Vue are a member of the Elite league they should have a pair of riders entered in to the competition, thats the real issue here.

By making the idiotic competition rules, its that simple.

What an absolute load of rubbish you're spouting. What final? it hasn't even started yet. It shouldn't matter a jot if Belle Vue's top 2 riders are 10 point world beaters or 3 point wobblers. The meeting is called the ELITE LEAGUE riders pairs and the facts are Belle Vue are a member of the Elite league this season so should have a pair of riders entered. Simple as that

I'd be very surprised if Loram rides. He withdrew from the 16 lapper last week with a trapped muscle in his neck and he could hardly move his head at all!

The young American lad won't be riding either, his flight from America was delayed. And the young dane is 16 year old Mikael Nielsen who was recommended by John Jorgensen. He IS riding tonight. Nielsen i mean, not Jorgensen

As Robyn said TC its the same line up as last week except for Holder who is set to be replaced by a young American star of the future! With this lad (unamed so far) and 16 year old Dane Mikael Nielsen, it seems the witches are using the event to run the rule over a couple of highly rated youngsters which is good to see. I always look forward to this event, but i'm even more looking forward to seeing how these 2 youngsters get on.

Don't give up just yet. If anyone can get a meeting on its Bob Ellis, the best trackman in the business bar none. He's got his work cut out this time though by the looks of it

Totally agree mate. The incident was a storm in a tea cup but of course it gave the anti-Andersen brigade another excuse to slaughter him. Nobody batted an eyelid about the "incident" except Nicholls and lets be honest here, he throws his toys out of the pram most weeks

What the hell are the 2 riders lying critcally ill got to do with it? who else other than Nicholls got there knickers in a twist about that race? did the referee throw Hans out of the race and slap him with a fine for dangerous riding? did the GB team manager lodge a complaint? the fact remains it was all blown out of proportion simply because it was Hans Andersen, pathetic

Absolute rubbish, of course if Nicholls had played the Hans part and rode it exactly as Hans did then of course there would have been nothing wrong with it
