  1. His average is extremely appealing, but he carries a risk these day unfortunately because you can never be sure if he’s suddenly not in a good place again and doesn’t turn up. It’s that risk that has more than likely put promoters off taking a chance.
  2. Is there enough ex Swindon riders still knocking around to put together a Swindon side that would be comparable strength wise to Oxford? Forget the 2019 team far too strong, but personally the Swindon select should at least contain riders that have worn the Robin and riders Swindon fans can relate to. I’ll be coming along to this one.
  3. There has been literally hundreds, and I mean hundreds of riders who have ridden for Buster over the years without issues. Who over the years have supporters generally disliked the most because of their whinging amongst other things? Doyle has never been too popular with supporters other than fans of the team he’s ridden for,, same for Rory Schlein (or slime as fans liked to call him), Tungate, Batchelor, Jack Holder, Chris Holder,, bit of a theme there no?
  4. Nah. Can you imagine if everyone who felt hard done by decided to go on instagram or any kind of social media to slag off whoever it was they were annoyed about, and in turn ruin that club/persons upcoming publicity promotion of their new gear? They’d be carnage. It would literally be happening every day,,,Thankfully that doesn’t happen it’s just Holder being a dick which isn’t surprising is it? There’s 2 sides to every story and this is clearly a case of wires crossed. There seems to be a power struggle going on at Peterborough at the moment than nobody knows the full details of. Holder was never riding in a Buster team, maybe the new sponsor got a little ahead of himself and thought he could do a deal but jumped the gun and has had to backtrack? Hardly crime of the century is it? Holder may feel upset and annoyed sure, but take it on the chin like a man and stop acting like a bellend.
  5. That’s fine, this is a bit different though isn’t it? He hasn’t just warned friends and colleagues has he
  6. That’s what I’d go for also. Looks a strong side when you see it like that.
  7. Not in their best interest really. Clubs might be wary of signing riders who air their dirty laundry in public.
  8. Card payments at the gate for the speedway were in operation last season Baldy, and are again this coming season. Used it myself and it was so handy not having to stop off at a cash machine on the way. About time too!
  9. Is it an assessed German or simply A German? If the other 6 are who we think they are we have 5.30 for the remaining place. If the rumour of Gino to Redcar has any legs, wonder if there was a swap deal for Tobias Busch? Not that inspiring admittedly especially in the 1-5, but hes German and the average fits.
  10. So Id guess the 4 would be King, Heeps, Covatti and Hume? Give me a like if Im warm Bob 😂
  11. How many points will that leave for the last place? Didnt think Mountain would be back but him being part of the Ipswich party at Portman Rd now makes me think otherwise.
  12. Am I right in thinking Jenkins would become an asset of any Championship club he joins? He’s got to be in the mix surely. Was a regular at Foxhall this season and was included as #8 in a few meetings. Drew Kemp is another we need to keep an eye on. Too young this year I think? But a young Ipswich lad being tipped for a bright future who has started his career very well at Mildenhall. Maybe one for 2019.
  13. Well if theres rain it certainly isnt forecast on any weather report Ive seen, not the main ones anyway. Met office, BBC and Metcheck have a dry evening forecast so hopefully any thats around now wont be troublesome. Looking forward to a good evenings racing and as someone mentioned earlier (apologies cant remember who), heat 13 looks mouthwatering!
  14. Agree Badge good replacement for Nico. King, Schlein, Sedgman, Newman and Heeps is some top 5 especially if Heeps keeps up his current form. Just need to solve the problem of replacing Hume which obviously won't be an easy task.
  15. Don't think so he's a King's Lynn asset still I believe.
  16. Well that's a positive! Any other details from the meeting? Would be interested to see the line up
  17. But you could also say this about another fancied side in Sheffield. You could argue Grajczonek, Howarth, Todd Kurtz and Bates have also "found their level"? That's four of their top 5. They've all been on similar averages for a few years now. Bates is seen as an excellent signing but in three years he's averaged, 3.53, 5.58 and 5.02. On top of that he's publicly said he doesn't want to be there. I'm not saying I don't rate Sheffield as I definitely think they'll be in the mix as I think Bjerre is the big average improver and they have talented youth at reserve, but there's question marks in every single team named.
  18. Agree. Never wanted a rider to succeed as much as I did Paco bless him.
  19. I hope it isn't! He's one I wanted back at Foxhall next year he averaged just under 7 the season before last. He definitely has an average increase in him which as we all know is the name of the game.
