Predictions for Prem 2023 as teams stand ...
Aries replied to Pauldoveyspeedway's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I agree Lynn have the potential for two or three to up their averages significantly. The only problem I see here is Lynn could have done with last seasons rules on no changes being allowed once the league campaign gets underway. Lynn will be hamstrung for strengthening once a couple increase their averages, whilst there is a few clubs who could see their team average tumble and have scope to swap out a middle order rider for another heatleader, or a weak reserve for a middle order man. I’ve always been of the opinion that if you got your team building wrong to start with tough, you’ve had all winter to get it right. Changes should only be allowed to swap out injured riders. -

Think Ipswich would have benefited from Emil having a meeting under his belt before their first league fixture next week, but from a business point of view there no way Louis would let that happen. IMO they’ll want Emil’s first meeting here to be at Foxhall. -

What a cracking line up fair play. Deserves a good turnout. -
Disagree personally.

Whose time have I “wasted” here? And where have I tried “to be clever”? I’ve don’t nothing of the sort so get off your high horse ffs. You say you never mentioned anything about decline and no you didn’t say the actual word, so what did you mean by “another year older” if you didn’t mean declining? Everybody is another year older in 12 months that’s generally how it works! No need to be an arse.
-
Eh? You ok there fella?
-
You didn’t no, others have though. Didn’t see the point of making another separate post.
-
Hope it’s Manzares personally. He’s a much better rider than he showed in his last stint over here as his previous stint at Ipswich shows.
-
Thank you. As I suspected, none of them even seriously threatened the 9 point barrier, they didn’t get close to him. Those 3 will also have the same added competition that Doyle has so that won’t just affect Doyle it’ll impact them too. As for “another year older”, I don’t think a few months during the close season will suddenly see a meaningful decline..

What were the averages across all competitions last year from his nearest rivals Fricke Kurtz and Holder out of interest?

I’m personally happy with those line ups. Pleased Batch is in as well. Will be making the trip. -
Can safely donate via PayPal so proof of payment can be uploaded on here at the end of the season. Either way Ben Fund gets an extra 50 quid donation so all good.

3 man teams is it? Holder Ellis and Musielak v Doyle Sayfutdinov and King, only one winner there too. Ipswich aren’t finishing bottom think you’re trying to be a bit edgy there. Sure everyone is entitled to their opinion obviously but come on there is no way you can seriously think all the other 6 teams look stronger. -
50 notes to the Ben Fund says he doesn’t?
-
Think this is getting overplayed a bit here. Definitely Bewley, and possibly Pedersen (it’s a wait and see with him) will provide Doyle with a stiffer test, who else has come in to the league that I’ve missed? Doyle will again comfortably top the averages of that there is no doubt.
-
Emil must be 100% done then. Thought they’d keep Danyon back until all the paperwork was complete but this surely now removes any doubt. Exciting times! I’m a fan of Danyon too by the way, as said above he’s one gutsy rider who gives everything he’s got. Can’t ask for anymore than that from a supporters perspective.
-
Superb to have Pedersen back in the league. I’ll make the long trip down to Foxhall on the 23rd. Pedersen Doyle and Sayfutdinov? Bit tasty that!
