  1. And absolutely loves riding here. As loyal to British Speedway over the years as anyone.
  2. Witches handicapped by having a rider that can’t see properly in their engine room and penalised by the rules in not allowing a guest from any other club to cover their injured and in form rising star, and they’re still winning it at a canter
  3. Do supporters really get the same satisfaction seeing their team win after your team drafts in the cavalry just prior to the play offs? Maybe it’s just me but I’d much rather see my team lift silverware with most if not all of the team that you’ve spent all season supporting. I get that some changes are forced due to injury and there’s nothing that can be done about that, but even then it would still take the shine off any win for me when the team that lifts it is unrecognisable from the team you’ve watched all year.
  4. That would be virtually impossible. It’s not just Birmingham is it, it’s every other club too that would have to visit there on a Monday without half their team. Mondays and Thursdays are Premiership nights. No championship fixtures could, or will, be played out on those nights.
  5. Did you even type that with a straight face? It’s your promoter who clearly has a win at all costs attitude regardless of the integrity of his choices. Should we be surprised though? After all this is the bloke who insisted his nephew who wasn’t far off qualifying for a testimonial, should be eligible for a “rising star” role as he (wrongly as it turned out) assumed it would give his team a huge advantage!
  6. You’ve got to be kidding surely? Led one of the most unfancied teams who were tipped to be nearer the bottom than the top, to the title whilst turning back the clock with a vintage season. He more than deserves his place on that list.
  7. Louis has a decision to make on the track. It was very grippy and tricky to ride by all accounts for the Cup match and Holder, Howarth and Pickering were all useless and didn’t fancy it on the night. That would play in to Harris’ hands though. Make it a bit slicker and easier to ride then Holder will get stuck in and be a threat. Ipswich have to take at least a 10 point lead going to Sheffield IMO. Watching them on Thursday the middle order pair of Holder and Pickering will get heat advantages all night long at Sheffield over King and Rew unless King brings his A game.
  8. Correct it’s clear as day what he’s doing. Underplaying Harris and Sheffields chances despite the evidence thrown his way that contradicts literally everything he’s saying. People aren’t daft to fool for that codswallop. Personally I think he’s still smarting from Swindon’s demise and Seeing an ex Swindon stalwart in Doyle leading another team to victory rankles just a bit too much. He’s free to root for whoever he likes though I’m sure every neutral will more than likely pick a side who they’d prefer to win.
  9. Orion give it up you’ve had an absolute mare. You had no idea Harris has been so good at Ipswich. “If he scores more than 7 are be amazed” whatever that means, is a terrible shout considering he’s scored more than that in every visit there for the last few years as Arch has shown. “Harris is unlikely to beat Doyle or Emil or even King” is another corker considering he beat Emil on his way to paid 14 on his last visit whilst also beating King twice in the same meeting. Someone stick a fork in the forum jester he’s done.
  10. Christ you don’t half talk some boll0cks! You’ve been made to look a pillock because you didn’t do any basic research on Harris’s performances at Ipswich before coming out with your crock of sh!te. At least be man enough to own it.
  11. Why be an ar*e, Roger? Not everybody is an anorak who will find the right website, then delve through the menus and sub-menus to find the written rules and regulations! Most people just don’t have the time either hence asking the question(s) on here. You clearly do and find it “easy”so help with the questions or don’t it’s your choice, but show a little humility eh?
  12. Exactly, bonkers. Think people should stop trying to interpret what is a rule and what isn’t anyway. Every man and his dog on here were adamant that Ipswich couldn’t use Lambert for Doyle when some suggested him because he was on an “assessed” average. Turns out they could have done after all! Who knows if Harris is eligible, wouldn’t surprise you though if he did would it?
  13. If it isn’t a rule then it’s one that should be! A rider riding for two different teams in the play offs is even more farcical than usual!!
  14. You have to tip your hat to Jason Doyle whether you like him or not. As Hawkins said last night, he’s struggled for set ups and speed in every visit there this year, and didn’t look as quick as others last night either and looked a bit vulnerable even when in front. But when the pressure was on he just wasn’t going to be denied was he? Pure guts, effort and determination not to be beaten when it really mattered. When Kurtz and Bewely briefly hit the front around there like they did here, think we all felt that was that. When they get in front they normally disappear in to the distance but Doyle was having none of it! Very intelligent riding too, cutting across and stopping the runs from the Ace’s pair at just the right times. Superb.
  15. He’s been a massive disappointment this season for Belle Vue.
  16. He made his comeback by his own admission, because he had to try and earn money, even though he was struggling to see as he foolishly admitted on his website before it was quickly pulled! He also admitted in a much more recent interview, that he’s still nowhere near fit and didn’t expect to be before the season was out. Absolutely bonkers by Ipswich not to make a change this year but they MAY just get away with it. Makes you wonder how good they’d be if Riss was contributing the steady points he’s capable of and has shown in the past.
  17. Well done Ipswich throughly deserved. With all due respect, done it yet again with a 6 man team whilst carrying a rider who shouldn’t be out there. Makes the achievement all the more impressive.
  18. That the one place you probably can’t even contemplate team riding. You do that you run the risk of quickly being swallowed up yourself! It’s a track where it’s head down and open the throttle
  19. A fit Riss has been a big miss for Ipswich all year, so have their rising Stars. All ifs buts and maybes
  20. Possibly, although a team with a top two of Doyle and Sayfutdinov should never be surrendering an 18 point lead really no matter how good Belle Vue are at home. If Those two do their jobs, the other five need to produce very little between them for Ipswich to progress.
  21. As always, the devil is in the detail. He scored 5 from effectively two rides last time out. Last season of the three meetings there, he scored 13 and 9 twice, one of those meetings featured two retirements. So whilst you’re correct, three retirements and a harsh exclusion in his last few visits there shows he hasn’t had the best of luck. There’s no guarantees he won’t have poor luck tomorrow either! That’s the nature of the sport. But I think 10 from him is a decent pitch as long as he’s fit.
