No. I'm not kidding. In the stadium, they didn't speak English. We was trying to get ou the stadium and explain that we wanted to come back in but they didn't understand/didn't speak English. Yes. I know. Prague is beautiful. We been their 2 years in a row now. But i think Prague and Poland is a very - Beer(Ish)Country. At the Speedway meetings the Poles like to get drunk.(Look at the drama that we had when we went to Prague and were packed in with Poles) WHAT!! - People from Prague in the Czech Republic not speaking English - that's outrageous. No wonder you went back to your hotel without staying to watch the meeting. That's exactly what I would have done after spending several hundred pounds flying out there and paying for a hotel.

Middlo has done a great job as manager, and if my memory serves me correct this is the first year he has been able to field his strongest team. Must mean it's a sell-out for the final then, as Shovlar has been telling us for weeks that ALL seating tickets have long since been sold out for the final. Funny thing is he said that there were very few seating tickets left for last night's race-off, and from where I was sat in the grand stand it was less than half-full, plus the temporary seating was only being used by those let through from standing areas. So Mr Spin Doctor Shovlar, what's occuring?

They would still get good crowds at those places you frown upon Steve, but at least EVERYONE would be able to SEE the racing. As has already been said, the tickets are costing a bloody fortune, not much to ask that us mere mortals be able to watch the racing for laying out that sort of bunce - is it? But of course it's being held at Poole regardless of whether the fans get value for money - and everything Poole do is so bloody wonderful.

Well you would say that wouldn't you. Watching over and over again last night on TV the contact was minimal - BUT there was contact. Having never ridden a bike at 60mph going sideways, I can't honestly say if that is enough to knock a rider off. But I very much doubt if Crump would deliberatly put his bike down when he was already in second place, as has been suggested on here and other Internet forums.

Not exactly true, due to the fact that FORMER Pirate Rickardsson currently leads the field. But I wouldn't expect you to acknowledge that as he no longer rides for Poole. Fickle or what. Full credit to Bjarne Pedersen on his win, just a pity he has to ride for such an arrogant club as Poole.

The ref has bottled the big decisions tonight - Pedersen should be out.

I don't think it's fair to judge anyone on a cycle speedway track like eastbourne. Bird has been in great form for Reading and Ipswich this season.
