Currently have Sky Sports and BT Broadband, but canned the new BT sports channels when they implemented the £5 charge. So it all depends if BT Sport show the GPs. If it's on BT Sports 1 then fine, otherwise not.
The EU love this competitive market, e.g. where the Premier League had to split up live games into packages and no one broadcaster could have the lot. It simply means if you want to watch events across broadcasters the punter pays more. This is made worse when events move broadcaster, e.g. Champions League, GPs. This is not competition from the customers perspective, the real winners are the right holders e.g Premier League, UEFA, BSI, In the football world this money inflates the players income (as if it's no enough), so lets hope the riders get the benefit!
When SKY lost the Champions League and BT implemented their £5 charge I quite happily did without and I don't miss it. Maybe the EU should have forced SKY to reduce their charge to customers. I think the time is coming when I challenge SKY for a reduction owing to their reduced content.
From a speedway perspective it confirms what we already knew, BSI are not interested in the bigger speedway picture, just their elite group and the coffers.
If the backlash against BT seen on here and Facebook is indicative, then Saturday tracks will be back in business if they put on a good product, as not many will be watching BT Sport!
