  1. Is there an online stream where I can watch GP online?
  2. Yes there is a copy out from re run videos got one for my mum from Rye House
  3. This is my first cardiff, also coming with my Parents so there is another 3 new people. Counting away the days.
  4. Ray Morton, (Not sure if Deon Prinsloo is still riding on other shores) Could bring Todd Wiltshire back for a special meeting. How about it!! That would be great wouldn't it.
  5. The Wimbledon v Hackney meetings in 1988 and 1989 always bring back memories to me they wer the best.
  6. Sounds interesting. I could maybe set up a website with pictures of riders that have ridden in official meetings. This however would be a big task for anyone to do on there own, so if anyone is prepared in giving me some help then it would be very much appriciated. Any help at all. If you have photo's of any riders with a brief decription of who they are and who they have ridden for then I would be willing to give it a go. I will start with photo's from the 1990'and 2000's This is a big project and will take a lot of time and effort to produce, so please bear with me. If any one has a bit of time to spare or can help in any way or has got any photo's then please send them to me at Speedwaydons91@aol.com and I will get back to you. Many Thanks Becky
  7. If you come and see me i will introduce you to my Mum on Saturday she maybe able to help you MD! Cheers Emma. will try and do that. Thanks for all the information everyone.
  8. I was wondering if anyone can help me I am researching for information for my new website that I will be setting up over the close season, at the moment I am looking for information on Wimbledon rider Rudy Muts. If anyone has any information on Rudy or any other Wimbledon riders that rode at Wimbledon around the same time then please email me at Speewaydons91@aol.com Many Thanks in Advance
  9. History Of Wimbledon During the Close season I will be looking into building a website about the History of Wimbledon Speedway. I know of a few books that will help me with alot of information, but I am also looking for old photographs of the Dons, and was wondering if anyone can help me out with any old photo's that you no longer want, or can scan them to me through Email. Also if anyone has some favourite tales to tell about The old days at Wimbledon I would be very gratful. Please email me at Montineracer@aol.com and I will get back to you. Many Thanks Becky
  10. In today's South London Press and Wednesday Nights Wimbledon Speedway Programme it has been announced that Former Wimbledon Rider Ron Howes has died at the age of 90. Ron leaves behind his wife 3 sons and 2 daughters. Ron started riding at Plough Lane in 1936 and later rode for Bristol. After the war he returned to wimbledon had a spell at west ham and captained rayleigh. I would like to pass on all our wishes and condolances to the Ron's family and friends from all at Wimbledon Speedway.
  11. To be honest Kevin, I don't really have any memories of Trevor Hedge riding...I only listed people I actually remember watching. Wimbledon have had so many great entertainers over the years it would be impossible to list them all. I grew up watching Ivan Mauger as he would always stay with us when in London, so I have lots of memories of him riding at Hackney and being jeered at Wimbledon. I always found it quite funny. Also have vivid memories of staying at his place in Cheshire a few times and sleeping in the same room as the gold bike. Another thing I laugh at now was at a party at his house after a BLRC at Hyde Road... Ivan hadn't done very well (think he was with Hull at the time) and I remember asking him what went wrong  He must have thought 'annoying little rubbish'. lol I didn't start going speedway tell I was about 14 almost 15 years old, back in 87 therefore that's why i don't know alot of the riders that you mentioned.
  12. I'm not as old as you steve, I only started to go to speedway back in 1987 so therefore you will have seen a lot of other Wimbledon riders in the extra 20 years that you have been going. I have heard many different story about some of the riders you have mentioned if I had been there during that time I proberly would have a few different riders.
  13. For Wimbledon I would have to say I would like to see riders like Nathan Simpson, and Deon Prinsloo. Deon was fantastic and I think could have gone far in the sport. It is great to see Todd Wiltshire back. And I would have to say I agree that Per (Reading) was fantastic, I went to his benifit meeting at reading and am the proud owner of a fantastic large framed picture of Per.
