Swedish Elitserien 2020
Losthammer replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
I have VPN for security reasons and have been delighted to find that if I change my location to Sweden you can watch everything live including the Polish meetings in HD which gives me the entire 'catalogue' of speedway this year for 189SEK a month. I have Polish TV anyway but it's cool to have access to everything. We truly are being spoilt this year with 8 meetings a week from Poland alone and now all the Swedish ones on top. In a year where our domestic speedway has been destroyed. It shows it can be done if you plan properly. Even with a COVD positive test Poland carried on and a week later were back at full capacity. You have to admire the Poles that's for sure! -

I emailed them around he time they started showing the Polish league. They have no plans to show Elitserien this season is what they told me. -

The manager has just given a statement. Anyone speak Polish? That was sickening, I didn’t know what the rider in white was doing? -

Iversen isn’t the same rider of a few seasons ago. He doesn’t seem as fast or competitive. Zagar can be brilliant, but that tends to be the exception rather than the rule. Nicki would be a good addition again, he’s still doing the business in the leagues, though not as dominant it could be argued. -

Should current GP riders be allowed to ride in the GP challenge? After all they’re already in it. If they’re good enough they’ll qualify. I think it robs potentially excellent additions from getting a real shot at the GPs. -

I don’t like Laguta’s aggressive riding, he doesn’t leave racing room, and also barges his way through regardless of the possible consequences. Like Tai getting badly hurt when Laguta left him nowhere to go. -

Yep, I agree, I’d added it to my post as I thought about it more. -

Max Fricke is definitely in for the GPs. That’s great news as he’s done really well in the GPs he deputised for Greg Hancock this season. The other two are pretty dull, already in, not fresh blood. We might get to see Anders Thomsen and Pontus Aspgren, if someone is injured which will liven it up more. We definitely have the best group part from a couple like Michelsen, Bjerre who do well in the leagues. Shame Lambert got injured but I think he would still have struggled, -
Is it my imagination or did Lublin just do the equivalent of a professional foul in football? Holders and Doyle are miles ahead in ht 15, and suddenly Laguta inadvertently gets in Michelsen’s way, but not enough for him to fall. He causes the race to stop though. Rerun and Michelsen wins. Something stinks IMHO, very poor when they’d won anyway!!

2019 Swedish Eliteserien fixtures

I signed up for this before you posted this R&R and as you say ESS’ coverage is a brilliant offer at £15.50 a months for every meeting. I was too late last year and couldn’t do it because I thought their price per meeting its expensive. I’m really looking forward to be able to watch the entire season’s meetings, I never really felt connected to Swedish speedway with just one TV meeting, especially if that was rained off. With all the Polish meetings and now this we will be spoilt indeed this year . -
Great news about Robert Lambert, he will raise his game again I’m sure and will do well in the Ekstraliga. I hope they can build a competitive team with decent heat leaders so they don’t struggle like Tarnow did this year. Nicki P going there would be good for example IMHO.

R&R, do you know whether there will be a link to watch it online?
-
They’re definitely going for it, track preparation well underway!

On Eleven Sports they’re now showing live pictures from the Dackarna meeting. It’s raining there again too
