  1. No he just got over protective about the chatzone . We all know it's an important service without the patronising reminder . But tonights texters comments were more Krankies than King Jamie . But if that's what they like , who are we to criticise .
  2. They should do , Wells is excellent round Ashfield , as is Masters when he keeps the toys in the pram .
  3. Seriously though , i'm all for adding humour into the texting , but clever humour . King Jamie was very good at that , far removed from the juvenile drivel I read tonight . Was your lot that christened Mr Summers that
  4. Texters comments were obviously aimed at your average 12 year old
  5. You have banter on the crapzone ????? well there you go , every day's a school day
  6. Erm Naw . You lot would be better sticking to the pessimistic posts that you excel in Four point lead to take to Sheffield ......hmmmmmm . Well done Son of God , 2nd week in a row a Tiger has stuck it up the Monarchs at the 'dale
  7. Those will include mastering joined up writing and various pantomime runs at the Pavillion .
  8. Because that's what they do , then they come on here feigning surprise and ejaculating about how wonderful they are . Hopefully we can avoid all that nonsense by pumping them tomorrow night .
  9. All clubs should make that stipulation , and if they refuse to sign - then so be it
  10. Pathetic . We need to chase these foreign riders that cant commit to our clubs' fixtures full time
  11. First real test of both clubs' title credentials . Being at home puts that wee bit more pressure on us . Looking at it from last week's meeting , Workington had a big hitter and a high scoring reserve . Had they another quality heat leader , they would have won . Edinburgh tick those boxes . Our lower order had their worst meeting , collectively , against Workington . So more is needed there . It's a fascinating prospect , with supporters of both sides trying to play down their team's chances - but kidding nobody . Are Edinburgh capable of coming to Ashfield and winning ? Yes they look as if they are . Are Glasgow capable of inflicting a first defeat on Edinburgh ( apologies Sheffield ) , of course we are . I for one , can't wait .
  12. Good stuff , hopefully it's a nice enough day for the beer garden .
  13. Who said anything about wanting to be battering teams week in week out ?
  14. Only a week to go before me and Willie descend upon you . Hope that bar is going to be open as late as it was last season ? Is the Golf Inn near the track still open for pre meeting bevvy warm up ?
  15. So it's almost upon us , the first derby of the season . No other meeting in British speedway yields as much passion as this does . Both teams are in relatively decent form , our three big guns are performing admirably , while the youngsters need to up their game from last weekend . This will be a tough examination . The Forces of Darkness have yet to suffer defeat , albeit they've only raced the weaker sides , and one of those severely depleted . They are led once again by the smiling , whinging Aussie , Sam Masters ( oh how you wish they'd sign Josh Bates for heat ones ) and the ever popular ( well he used to be ) Ricky Wells . The Riss brothers have started the season really well , and no doubt the Chuckle Brothers will be examining all options to keep Mark Riss at reserve till at least September . They have a new young Aussie , who seems to be better than last season's new young Aussie . And they have the most experienced two pointer in the league and Cleggy . So we'll have to be on it right from the start and lets see if we can show these Monarchs who's boss this season .
  16. Deary me Jenga , give us a break . We have the most expensive speedway in the Championship , surely being entertained for our hard earned isn't much to ask .
  17. Whether we agree about t/r's , tacky subs or whatever , they do have the potential to give good speedway , which is something we all want . They really don't change that many meetings , but when they do it generally results in a classic . Peterborough v Reading in 2006 is generally accepted to be the best play off final there's been , the t/r's played a part in ensuring that .
  18. We have a free weekend next weekend as do yourselves
  19. Maybe you could come to us next weekend then for the rearranged league match
  20. It's a good idea until the rules get bent and you get Australians with about 10 years Premier League experience sneaking into a number 7 racejacket .
