So after a week's absence from Ashfield , we're back against the Bears . We're still without Nike and Redcar might have one or two injury worries of their own . Ellis Perks took a knock at Poole's bumpy track the other night , and at Somerset last Friday I saw Charles Wright taking a nasty looking tumble which caused him to miss the return fixture at Wolves on Monday . Will still be tricky though , Redcar are no longer the whipping boys and have the colourful pair of Garrity and Barker leading their attack . And it's a welcome return for Coty Garcia too . So let the rain stay away , let the track offer spectacular racing , let the temperature be warm and let the beer be cold . An entertaining home win as well please .

Anyway , who's joining me on the 3rd bend tomorrow night ? Yes Armadale's track isn't my cup of tea , but it's still speedway and my team is there . Weatherwoman said there was to be a change to the recent good spell of weather , so hope any rain stays well away from the 'dale tomorrow . And I see it's Speedway Star's match of the week , maybe because they don't seem to do much racing in the top flight . Teams having 3 and 4 weeks between home meetings .

Wasn't too many seasons ago that Steve Worrall left Newcastle and dropped into the 3rd tier with Stoke ( I think ) to regain his confidence . Didn't do Steve any harm , hopefully Liam benefits the same way .

If Gappmaier hasn't raced the necessary meetings to acquire a new average , then it makes perfect sense to make this move before he does . Everyone else uses or bends loopholes in the rules to get what they want , so I don't see what Berwick are doing wrong .
