  1. Seriously Pinny ???? Must have some super models wandering about convict land that has spoiled you hahah
  2. Jenga cant get his geography or maths correct , so not one of the more believable rumours to appear on here lol
  3. Why would Rene be re-joining Glasgow ? He could only replace one of our heat leaders and that is highly unlikely
  4. Doubling up being as it is , means the guest thing just gets worse and worse .
  5. Cant argue with any of that , but what is the answer ? Squads have been mentioned , but isn't financially viable or is there sufficient riders willing to ride here . And teams get bad luck with injuries before we even go into the shambles the out of control doubling up has caused . If we do away with guests , then team speedway will be unworkable .
  6. At the start of the season when teams were built ( in both leagues ) to existing PL averages from last season , it made the rolling averages redundant .
  7. It's the old gating tart thing as opposed to exciting riders who thrill us with their exploits working their way through the field . Greg Hancock for example , great rider and seemingly able to defy old Father Time , but i'm sorry he doesn't get the juices flowing the way a Darcy Ward or a Tomas Gollob did .
  8. We had riders such as Joe Haines , not being able to take up a place in the World under 21's because of financial constraints . If the BSPA were serious about pushing the progress of young British riders that kind of thing wouldn't be an issue as the riders in question would be given that support . Whatever people think of Woffinden is irrelevant , in this instance not using a double world champion when he offers help just beggers belief .
  9. Riders not putting it all in to drop their average (Kevin Wolbert , Glasgow 2014 ) , much the same as footballers not putting it all in to get rid of a manager . Suppose these sorts of things happen in team sports , not just speedway .
  10. This just illustrates the shambles speedway is in with doubling up out of control .
  11. No we'll gloss over that kiss of death lol , I meant the standard of entertainment on track .
  12. Was all a myth perpetrated by the forces of darkness
  13. Seriously ?????? i'd love to watch every week what I watched at Somerset 2 weeks ago . Either a wind up , or a very bitter man with an axe to grind . A very daft post
  14. Yeah kind of spoiled our fun him abdicating
  15. Exactly , why cant we ever have clear cut rules and transparency to cover for every eventuality ? There's always this making it up as we go along scenario .
  16. Josh Auty must hate Glasgow , because he looks a real quality heat leader every time we arrive at the Eddie Wright raceway .
  17. At Glasgow last year he became a huge crowd favourite . Huge personality and had some decent meetings too . Top scored for Leicester at Rye House recently , so seems to have improved this season
  18. Saw Richie ride for Somerset at the dump , erm definite Armadaleitus there
  19. Ayres would be a good shout , riding well this year
  20. Not unusual though , last season Ben Barker rode his final Glasgow meeting after being told he was being replaced
  21. Yeah one of those silly individual fixture fillers , hopefully it's team only fixtures now until the end of the season .
  22. Bit of frustration there , Andersen was very poor , on a track he usually rides quite well , before finally winning a race once the meeting was over a contest .
  23. Blimey they usually have no problems in that department , apart from the one time Midnight Lady asked me if I could do it at an Edinburgh v Glasgow meeting at Armadale a few years back , and the Chatzone nearly exploded lol . I didn't have to do it in the end up
  24. Yeah I realise that , in all likelihood he was genuinely ill .
