Berwick V Glasgow Cl Sat July 15th At 7pm
Paulco replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Hopefully we get a clash every bit as entertaining as that meeting was . -
Saw Trent Leverington do the very same at Glasgow one day . Just because you pay to get into a track , that doesn't give you the right to hurl abuse at a rider . It's pathetic the ones that think it's their right .

24 hours till I'll be stood on the back straight for this one and no thread yet . Suppose threading a Berwick meeting these days is pretty much impossible as nobody ( apart from maybe Crescent Girl ) knows what kind of septet the Bandits will cobble together . What I do know is that we'll be at full strength hoping to add more away points to strengthen our play off place . So Brewers Arms , Leaping Salmon and Black and Gold club , bring it on .

Glasgow , and I agree
-
Lies , alleged punches , more lies , announcers quitting , crappy track , yet more lies , riders throwing the toys out the pram , more lies , riders feigning injury - allegedly , the Steve and Gavan show , and yet more lies . And some fans want my club to move up and join this madhouse of a league

Is one riding at 1 and the other at 7 ? -
Edinburgh V Berwick 7th July

While David comes across as an intelligent and articulate man , and can handle the critics sensibly , I doubt if many of his compatriots would be able to do that in the same way . Can you imagine Tai Woffinden and Steve Shovlar on here ? . Best if the majority just go out and ride their bikes and leave the social media stuff well alone . -
He's going to have some headache in the morning
-
They might be both on the small side , though nothing like each other . Redcar has high bankings on the 3rd and 4th bend
-
No you never lol , that was just silly
-
Heat 6 wasn't too shabby either , hotting up nicely
-
Well done Chris Harris , cracking race
-
Maybe , but what choice did the lad have . Shafted by Belle Vue when promised a team place during the winter . The Horlicks that was made of the averages has kept him out of the top league , so he has to take the opening when it arrived . As long as it doesn't affect his Glasgow form , I hope the lad proves a few folk wrong .

Good to see Ben has recovered from his illness at the weekend , not looking too ill in the pits at Wolverhampton tonight . -
Exactly , i'm more worried about the travelling Richie will have to do , it's a fair trek between Poole and Glasgow . So as long as his form and points scoring for Glasgow isn't affected by riding for his second team , then fair enough .

That's why I never mentioned them , I witnessed that lamentable performance at Berwick the other week -
Speedway World Cup 2017

Can't add to that , summed up the British performance completely . What an enigma Lindback is , he looked superb last night , as he does in GP's from time to time too , but equally he turns in some stinkers . But credit the Swedes , Poland was always going to win last night as their conveyer belt of talent is quite scary , but the Swedes hung in there and kept them honest . -
The Race For The Championship Play Offs
Paulco replied to Norfolk Bear's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Looking more and more like Glasgow , Ipswich , Sheffield and possibly Edinburgh . Big couple of weeks coming up with Glasgow visiting Berwick and Scunthorpe , while Ipswich host Sheffield and visit Newcastle tonight . Edinburgh need more on the road to be more secure , Worky's home defeat last night will have damaged their chances and , despite winning at Redcar , Peterborough have possibly too much to do -

That was always going to be the case over there , and Harris done as well as he could in the final . It's a shame that the top league shuts down for that week , but yet we're supposed to just carry on with loads of guests or rider replacement . The World Cup shouldn't be a yearly event anyway , between that and the silly joker , it's just a novelty event with it's importance watered down . -

Very possibly , but I don't think he would have coped with Summers , or Lawson , especially in the early part of the meeting . They were that good -

He had a legitimate excuse , that was Exeter Anyway , agree with what everyone has said , enjoyable and interesting meeting with solid performances on both sides . For us Aaron was brilliant , Richard messed up his maximum by going too wide on bend 4 in heat 15 , yes Dan and Richie had below par nights , but both still produced important race wins just at the right time . Nike had his best meeting for a long time , and although our two reserves had the bulk of the last places , they still rode above their average and 5-1'd heat 2 . Starke and Ostergaard done their job superbly for the Panthers , while Holder was exciting if a little erratic at times . Wilson Dean and Carr didn't offer much , but Bacon at 7 was solid and got better as the meeting went on , probably the best visiting number 7 that's been to Ashfield this season . R/R for Barker yielded 8 points from the four programmed rides , so not really that much down from what Barker , or even Harris , would have scored . -
