  1. Ryan McDonald is the track junior , so presumably a suitable guest for Aarnio couldn't be secured . Look at Sheffield last Saturday , they had two novices in their side as they couldn't get suitable replacements . Didn't stop them coming away with three points though .
  2. Nobody was giving Jack any abuse at all . We all realise that the lad needs time , you are a very strange type of Glasgow fan .
  3. Ah ok , I don't really follow the other league that closely .
  4. We won the cup last season , so that blows that statement out the water . Your posts on here seem to suggest you want the team you support to fail , very strange behaviour .
  5. With a forecast dryish day tomorrow , hopefully we'll get to see some speedway at last . Our injury woes are well documented and are still without Lunna , Bewley and Perry . Kyle Newman comes into replace Nike ( i think ) which would mean r/r for Dan , and Liam Carr comes in for Tom . I believe Scunny are using r/r for Josh Auty ( no idea what's wrong with him ) , and are using Ryan McDonald as a guest at number 6 . We have to win this one to get back on track , but the performances of both Ryan Douglas and Lewis Kerr last Saturday should ensure a bit of entertainment . In all honesty our three heat leaders should be looking at a big pay day in this one , but nothing is guarenteed with us lately .
  6. The cut off is the 17th i think , so presumably they can begin after that .
  7. Because when you are at home you can use a rider who's average is 5% higher than the rider he is replacing .
  8. It does seem a bit strange , I can only assume he turned down his place for reasons we are unaware of .
  9. It was the top rider from each team , and the next 6 riders in the averages , with no team having more than two riders . So maybe he wasn't in the six next best .
  10. You keep your winning ways for Saturday young lady
  11. You'll be in the Golf hotel then , I like that place
  12. That would be your biggest winning margin of the season
  13. Not allowing Aussies to ride in our leagues is one of the daftest things I've read on here . Ok recently one or two have moaned and whinged and threw the toys out the pram , but we have one or two capable of that as well . The Aussies have brought so much to our sport since it's conception really , and we should embrace them rather than chase them away . There's not a club in the country who's history hasn't been enriched by Australian and New Zealand speedway riders .
  14. I get a bad rep , truth of the matter is i'm a lightweight . I had 2 pints at the speedway last week , and that has been the norm at home this season . Ok away trips are a wee bit different , especially when me and Willie go away for 2 and 3 day trips , but the fixture list doesn't allow for too many of those now .
  15. It's hard to keep interested when you're watching processional speedway and riders missing cause they're riding elsewhere . But I haven't yet reached the stage of not going , I enjoy the wee group I stand with every week at Glasgow and I still enjoy doing away trips .
  16. You only get that kind of nonsense on facebook . " My beloved Glasgow Tigers " and all that kind of crap . On here it's a bit more realistic and down to earth . Even when Jenga starts up haha
  17. And we haven't even had a KO Cup meeting this season yet . Just as well they scrapped the league cup or it would be Christmas dinner in the den followed by a double header with a dozen guests and r/r
  18. Sorry to hear that mate , but I understand how you feel . This has been the most self destructive season I can ever remember .
