It kinda was . Harris was in the pits with him at Cardiff when he rode in that SGP2 event on the Sunday after the main GP . I think having Harris in the pits with him again will prove beneficial
-
I think having Harris as a teammate again will be a big bonus to him and Glasgow
-
Leon Flint just been officially announced as signing number 2

We go through this pantomime every winter even though the septet seems to be the worst kept secret on the forum . It is what it is , clubs seem to love the drip feed nonsense
-
Only the champions are allowed to do that
-
Think Glasgow have had enough of trying to arrange fixtures around rider's overseas commitments . Too many times it's Danish League , or Danish championship or various under 21 fixtures meaning we've had missing riders for our important fixtures
-
No its not , if this does happen to be the 2024 side it looks like having an all British team makes it easier to arrange and rearrange fixtures without having to worry about losing riders to any fixtures abroad same as what has happened in the past .
-
That looks a long tail , but I suppose every team will have that with the 38 points limit . I have to say , the watered down league doesn't inspire excitement . Can't see me spending fortunes next season going to away meetings . But at least we'll still have Bomber to enjoy watching at Ashfield .

NDLRC take 2 Sunday 15th October
Paulco replied to Neila's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
My third visit to Workington this season and I just love the place . Track has to be the widest in the country and its great news they are moving up . As for yesterday , a bit of a Sunday afternoon stroll in the sun for Connor Bailey , winning races by half a lap at times . But an enjoyable meeting nevertheless . Can't wait to watch Bomber blast round the outside of those bends next season -
Brilliant news yesterday . The Northside track is fantastic , got to be the widest in the country . Can just see Bomber blasting round the outside of those bends . That track deserves to be at a higher level , roll on 2024

I was hoping with the rumoured cut in the points limit to 38 that they would have shown a bit more ambition . But so be it
-
We're probably only going to have 8 teams in the Championship next season , so not a great deal of difference
-
38 is what I've heard , but even that is unacceptable. They can't keep watering down the Championship and expect the fans to turn up and pay 20 odd quid to get in and watch a load of 6 point riders . We've finally got the title monkey off our backs . Time to think hard and see what ambitions we as a club really want . Yes the Monday and Thursday thing isn't ideal , but the size of the crowd that turned up at Ashfield last Monday shows what is possible if you have the right opposition . We have the facilities , we have the track fit for the Premiership.. Let's bite the bullet and move up

What a wonderful night . Couldn't get to Poole due to work commitments, but what a night we had at Ashfield . The team were amazing last night , I was one of the ones who doubted a 14 point lead would be enough down there , but from opening 5-1 the doubts disappeared as we ticked off the heats . But this is for the guys who has brought this club up from its knees . 2013 and 14 we were standing among the weeds on the back straight , turning up and watching us getting hammered every week . Fans selling possessions to help buy the first airfence ( ironically from Poole ) . Now we have a wonderful stadium ,a terrific track , a team who can now call themselves worthy champions . What a difference . Poole will bounce back from this , they have a cup final yet to race and if they win that they will have won two of the three competitions, hardly a disappointing season . Roll on 2024 , but please Glasgow , dont let Bomber leave .

Glasgow Vs Redcar, play offs 230923
Paulco replied to Jaizer's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
After Oxford winning at Redcar last night , we have to win home and away with Redcar and beat Oxford by more than 10 on Tuesday night to reach the final . But first things first , we have to take care of business today , Redcar are the only team to have beat us at home this season , so we have to take nothing for granted today even when they are severely weakened without Charles Wright , which was their undoing last night . -
Canny diss big Lee , the guy is a cult hero . Remember once we were down at Somerset and we were getting a right doing . Big Lee comes out and wins heat 12 and does two laps of honour .
-
I'm sure he does , apart from the poster who holds him personally responsible for the invasion of Ukraine

As far as I'm aware neither Tarasenko , Sayfutinov or Laguta have waged war on anyone . Now take your political morality and sod off to a forum that deals with that stuff .

Oxford v Glasgow - Play Offs - 13 Sept
Paulco replied to Grachan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If it's as good as last week's meeting between the two sides , then we could be in for another classic -
As far as I'm aware Loophole Lenin doesn't even own a furry hat or drink vodka

Oxford v Glasgow - Play Offs - 13 Sept
Paulco replied to Grachan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well we've had the qualifying tournament , now the real stuff begins . Got a feeling that bonus points are going to be crucial in our group . So I hope we can go to Oxford tonight and at least keep it close . -
Don't see what all the greeting and gnashing of teeth is all about , apart from about 2 or 3 , then the odd mercenary coming here once Poland is done for them , Vadim is basically riding against the same riders in both leagues anyway .

That was surreal . Floodlights were on and the sky got really black , but I'm glad we were in front when the inevitable downpour came . Until then it was an entertaining meeting, Son of God remembered his birthright and was majestic . Mad Vlad was also superb for a 5 point man on his first away meeting , boy has a future . Special mention to Jack Smith , his battling display beating first Riss and then Bailey were crucial points
