Yes there is , the very last one Ok this coming Friday lol

Almost the last chance saloon for the title race in reality . A Glasgow win and 4th place is still up for grabs though we still need to probably win at either Ipswich or Lakeside . An Edinburgh win and theyre there and i cant honestly see any team in the league going to Armadale and getting to within 20 points of the current Monarchs side .

For next Friday's meeting , is there a taxi rank at Chafford Hundred train station ? If not does anyone have a local taxi firm number thanks ?

And you can guess what i want for my birthday , a Tigers home win and the forces of darkness sent back along the M8 to tricktrackland pointless . Yes it's the biggee , Scotlands finest against Satan's seven , or six or how many they rock up with . I believe we have Connor Mountain as guest reserve , while they have Broc Nicol as their reserve replacement . As both their Swedes got Armadaled apparently during Friday night's latest home slaughter , but Victor Palavaara is expected to ride on Tuesday . So Cookie , Bomber and the lads will have to bring their 'A' game to the track , while we bring the beer tokens and the anti-smug spray . Going to be a nervy , but entertaining evening as the play off thingy goes right to the wire . C'mon the Stripes

As many have said , probably the most entertaining 15 heats of speedway at Ashfield this season . Wasnt looking good from our perspective for much of the meeting , but we got our act together and also had a bit of a helping hand from the Witches too . Watching Craig Cook is a joy to behold , the speed he generates is breathtaking as he passes riders like they were stood still , you cant see him losing a race just at the moment . And what a prospect young Kemp looks . To ride like that having just turned 16 is quite something .

Yes i suppose there is that view . It did keep things alive up here until Armadale became home for the Monarchs . But it was still a weird season going to Shawfield that season and not seeing a Tigers racejacket

Edinburgh's point at Workington last night makes the two Glasgow/ipswich meetings coming up crucial . In reality it looks like either the Tigers or the Witches will have to win both meetings to have a chance of making the play offs .

Doesnt work in most cases . Just going by experience . In 1996 when it was Scottish Monarchs , it was basically an Edinburgh team plus Mick Powell , riding at Glasgow . A lot of Monarchs fans wouldnt go because it was at Shawfield and we went to cheer for the opposition every week . That got boring after a while and the crowd levels dwindled . Thankfully it only lasted a season and we both got our identities back .

Entertaining enough meeting . All the Glasgow riders took the opportunity to get amongst the points against weak opposition . Only Wethers and Robson were any real threat to the Tigers domination. Tuesday night will be a much sterner task especially with Ipswich roping in Nicholls and Barker as guests . -
Bit quiet surrounding this meeting . A must win for us to keep our slim play off hopes alive , could do with the Comets getting a result at the dump tonight . We won handsomely at Brough Park and only the same will do tonight

The Ipswich fan should just concern himself with his own club , which comes in for regular criticism from its own followers . -

For the restaging of the Glasgow meeting on Sept 14th , can anyone recommend a hotel not too far from the track please -
Last chance saloon for the Tigers as they have to overcome the Monarchs and have them leave empty handed to keep our diminishing play off hopes alive . The Monarchs faithful only seem to venture west along the M8 when they smell blood , so the 4th bend covered terrace will be jam packed full of them as they will expect to win after last night's mauling . Cookie should be back to spearhead our attack and there will be a return of race zero before the meeting as Bomber tries out which Allied mobility scooter he wishes to use for his 5 rides . Hopefully the forecast deluge doesnt transpire and we sent those pesky Monarchs home pointless .
