  1. He probably will be in as the token Brit . Satsumanov and Holder should be certs . Lindgren will probably get another chance . Hampel would be a more deserving case than Nicholls , but there are already 4 Poles in next years GPs - so the token Brit it will be then .
  2. I was bad enough on the Vodka in Cardiff this year , without going to flaming Poland
  3. Thought it was not a bad meeting once it warmed up . Would rather watch a Bydgoszcz GP than one on some nonsense temporary track anyday .
  4. We''ll all get to see Sajfutdinov in the GP's soon enough . Therefore it's quite right Smolinski should retain his place in the field . Why should he miss out due to German inefficiency
  5. It has got to be the lamest excuse ever for cancelling a meeting . On the bright side , at least the final GP will be on a proper speedway track . However i feel so very sorry for all the people who have went over there .
  6. Would make more sense to offer the place to young Mr Sajfutdinov , as he beat Holder into second place in the under-21 final .
  7. According to that the Prague GP is 4 days after Cardiff
  8. Yes , but he's still only a PL rider with a lot to learn . As Saturday afternoon showed .
  9. Why would a PL heat-leader expect to score more points than an EL second string ?
  10. Nobody is writing him off , but maybe this is a timely wake-up call for him .
  11. Yes it was the people ( including myself ) who had a different opinion to events on Saturday than Subedei . However Subedei is entitled to air his opinion on any matter the same as the rest of us , and if individuals decide they cannot handle this and resign - then that is their decision . I will be saddened if Subedei is forced out because of this , although i disagree with the lengths he sometimes goes to , his views are more often than not accurate . Although not in the Gollob/Crump incident .
  12. Have you not heard about what goes on at Polish meetings on the terraces .
  13. His rant during his subsequent interview was quite amusing though .
  14. Crump done a clean pass and Pedersen leaned into him thus causing the crash . Gollob and Crump had a ding-dong battle and were almost neck and neck going into the bend when Gollob's back wheel took Crump's leg away causing the crash . Both Gollob and Pedersen were correctly excluded in both mine ,and more importantly , the referee's opinion . And that's why we post on here - to express our opinion whether others agree or not .
  15. Here's a novel idea . Every rider in the world has a chance of being world champion . Then through a series of qualifying rounds throughout the season we are left with 16 riders riding in a one-off world final . Or has something like that been done before ?
  16. Very true , better get that can of juice dope tested .
  17. It's a fan is it , i thought it was a hair drier .
  18. It is annoying i'll grant you that . Not a classic Bydgoszcz GP by any stretch of the imagination , not helped by over-watering during the meeting . Nicki Pedersen has all but wrapped up the title yet again . The more i watch these GP's , the more i yearn for the good old one-off World Final .
  19. True . Remember the big international we had at Shawfield in 1991 - England v Australia v Sweden . First running lasted about 3 heats Even back then the rain was intent on making sure we didn't see any speedway .
  20. With 5 Aussies at Glasgow and a further 2 at Edinburgh , i'm just very disappointed that neither of the Scottish tracks were given one of the tests . It would have balanced things up giving Australia a home meeting .
  21. Surely this series would have been better contested in Australia . With no league speedway to compete with it could be a cracking 5 meeting series over there .
