I'm sure it's just a week or two after the final GP . Riders need the whole winter to prepare their machinary and get sponsors in place , so they have to give the lucky three as much time as possible . After his performance in yesterday's under 21 final , maybe Tai is worthy of a nomination . Nicki Pedersen finishing in the top 8 would help his chances i think .

Which just goes tp prove the GP circus is a joke . Surely it should be the top 15 riders on merit ( plus the wildcard for local interest ) , and not having riders in it because they're popular with the media and the fans . Woffinden will make the GP's on merit in time , but he might be a year or so away from being ready .

Would all depend if they negotiated the German , Polish and Czech GP's without getting shot or captured .

True mate . Why does there have to be a British rider in it - if they're not good enough at the moment - then too bad . There will be the British Champion to fly the flag at Cardiff to appease Sky and the patriotic fans , but no British rider has done enough to deserve a place in the series proper .
