Ipswich Vs Glasgow Thursday 14th May 7.30 Pm

Losing the will to live with speedway , rain off after rain off , this one's not riding as it's the Tunisian Best Pairs or something equally as trivial . Stadiums being used for the East Anglian tiddlywinks championship and someone just notices that we cant have the speedway 5 days before we're due to roll up . Really losing patience with it all -

God knows -
It was on an earlier post on this thread , is Redcar's Pole not a guest reserve ? Guess Victor must have to ride Swedish League tomorrow night
-
Why do you want to know that ?

Hope it's on , my liver cant take another rain off

Cancelled my hotel and I can still use my train tickets from Ipswich to Peterborough and just head up to Scunthorpe from there . Scunthorpe v Rye House wasn't the meeting I wanted to see on Friday , but it's on my way home and better than kicking my heels in Peterborough . -

As long as it isn't Tony Steele , he cost us the meeting last year -

This better be on after the Peterborough nonsense . This should be a cracker , really looking forward to it -

When did this come to light , it's been on the fixture list since January . So we've bought our train tickets online and booked our hotel , there's no other sport that treats it's fans as badly as speedway does -
Glasgow V Plymouth Sunday 10th May, 3pm

I've seen us at Ipswich twice , 2011 and 2014 , and have yet to see us lose there . A record I would like to continue when I go there on Thursday . As for Peterborough , I think we have riders who will enjoy that wonderful track . But back to the meeting at hand , without sounding like one of the smugs , this should be a straightforward home win . The Great Satan looks a pale shadow of his former self and I don't really see Risager , Newman or Simota seriously troubling our heat leaders . Be interesting to see how Holder junior does though -

That can change , Elaine is doing it too . Big week coming up for us , scheduled 5 meetings by next Sunday evening . 11 points from that would be nice And a nice bonus of no annoying Elite League fixtures clashing with our two road meetings on Thursday and Friday -

It's a meaningless meeting now , you might get it staged after the final -
Order some nice weather for next Wednesday please , we're popping in to see the Wolves meeting on our way to Ipswich

Not by heat 1 , had only three pints in the bar by then -
Agree with everything that's been said . The BSPA had stumbled onto a good idea , probably through more luck than judgement , and have now reverted to type to mess it up . The home fans have been robbed of that extra bit of tension that makes any sport more enjoyable

Agree with everything you say though I know wee Nick is the new great Satan to the Monarchs faithful , but heats 13 and 15 were brilliant battles which Nick played his part . What a dream it would be to have a Tigers /Monarchs play off final in October . Though I think the BSF would explode . One point from Friday night , Craig Cook in heat 1 , equals track record of 54.8 and didn't have to look exceptionally quick in that race to win it . Not one other heat had a time under 57 seconds , very strange -

Sad to hear Rusty took a nasty one last night , we loved having him at Glasgow last year , and who could forget his amazing 17 points at our win at Derwent Park . There were rumours he was going to retire at the end of last season , hope this latest injury hasn't made his mind up and he comes back as good as ever . -
The season has not long finished , but I love Saturday nights watching the Braehead Clan in the British Elite ice hockey league . Also I love a day at the horse racing .

Enjoyable enough meeting , with Glasgow's mess up of a tactical ride offset by Edinburgh's unorthodox team riding in heat 14 . Cant complain about the end result , at least we took it to them right to the end . That's the Premier Trophy over , now for the league -

True , Sedgmen cant possibly be as dreadful as he was on Sunday , and I don't see us getting much change out of Masters and Cook . So the reserves race , heat 8 and the ones with the Wolbert/Riss partnership are the ones to focus on , the impressive gating of Serjeant would have been useful . But we'll go with what we have and see if we can sneak a point .
