  1. If we can win this , then that should be enough to clinch the runners up spot and direct entry to the play off semi finals . Wont be easy cause as well as Kurtz there's Josh , Richie Worrall and Charles Wright to contend with . Should be a cracker of a meeting
  2. That and all the guesting , must take it's toll . The inexperience reared it's head in the PL pairs final and you wonder if it will in a crunch play off heat . However he is a real talent and a GP rider in the making in 3 or 4 years time
  3. Be an accomplishment and a testimony to their progress if Plymouth could make the play offs , I wish them well , However Edinburgh are looking annoyingly efficient once again at this stage of the season , and it's hard to see anyone beating them over two legs
  4. So is ours , what are you suggesting haha ?
  5. That's just the way modern day speedway is , keep the fans in the dark as much as possible . And they wonder why folk don't go anymore
  6. When's cut off cause I see we're at home to Rye House on Sept 13th , is that after the cut off I wonder ?
  7. I was in the bar after the Glasgow meeting when Leigh was being hailed after his paid maximum that night . How quickly things can change in just a short period of time .
  8. Why do you think that ? When has Kelvin shown such a considered and insightful view on PL speedway ?
  9. Cant believe I'm wanting the Monarchs to win , but the reality is that if they win down there then it all but guarantees both Scottish clubs will finish in the top 2 . However a Somerset victory sets up a very interesting Rebels northern tour starting on the 21st
  10. Well regardless of who was right and who was wrong , as Tigers fans we're delighted at Victor's progress this season
  11. Deary me , that's a year on , the lad has improved a lot . And I have admitted previously , though you never delved back for that post , that Victor was thrown in at the deep end and was out his depth at the time .
  12. Well that was pretty comfortable . Tight for about 4 heats , then Glasgow strolled to an easy victory . Thank heaven for Jonas B Andersen who provided the only real opposition . Big paydays for the Tigers riders , shame Victor suffered a puncture while leading heat 2 as it robbed him of a first paid maximum
  13. Everybody has to from time to time , it's a skill getting that bit right
  14. That wasn't a criticism , he was the match winner at the dump tonight
  15. Heard a rumour that is was going to be a four team tournament instead of the Scottish Open , but who knows . Anyway they've got other things to worry about tonight after getting pumped at home by Peterborough
  16. Both will be back by then . Both injuries are a result of the curse of the Peugeot Open invitation , so lets hope no more riders are named till next weekend
  17. Getting exciting now as , despite the annoying injury thing , we chase a top 2 finish . Fellow contenders , Peterborough , drag their patched up side to Smugville tonight , so they'll do well to get owt there . So we have a chance to gain some more ground on our rivals . It's actually a big week in the title chase , with the Smugs home and away with Peterborough and a fixture at Rye House in between , before heading to Somerset for the telly meeting and Somerset have a crucial looking northern tour next weekend . Anyway back to Sunday , weans get in for nothing this week , hopefully with the proviso of accompanied by a paying adult or it could get noisy . We have Josh Grajczonek guesting for Nick , and r/r for the unfortunate Kauko . Redcar have Kevin Doolan guesting at number 1 and Arthur Sissis guersting at number 7 , he could be troublesome from there . And of course it's a quick return for the French surrender monkey and his fragile confidence hmmmmmm. Hopefully we get an entertaining meeting as it doesn't matter if you win by 2 or 32 this season , so 2 will do .
