Hopeless. Poole's to lose now. -
Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17

Yeah. Just read it. Plus the top reserve will probably need to take an extra ride tonight, so just about feasible considering he didn't take the extra ride yesterday. -

just checked the Peterborough website. All it says about BWD is that he made an excellent comeback from injury. -

10/04/76 Swindon V Sheffield Ashby V Jansson Golden Helmet.
Grachan replied to Sidney the robin's topic in Years Gone By
I got Tommy Jansson's autograph that night. He was there on his own in the away pits, sitting against the back wall, then, as you say, came out in the second half. -
Carter, Morton,simmons,louis,wilson What Order.?
Grachan replied to Sidney the robin's topic in Years Gone By
Carter -should have been World Champ in 82. Penhall had him off. Louis - rostrum place in my first ever World final. Simmons - might have put him second if he hadn't deliberately dropped his average at Swindon. Wilson - 1975. Booooo!! Morton - possibly because he was always second heat leader behind Peter Collins. -

What benefit? I don't think there are any. Sure,he doesn't need a visa to work in the UK, but that's nothing to do with Speedway. It's his birthright. -

At least "Shovlar" and Starman are real Poole fans. None of your posts have any credibility now you have been exposed as also pretending to be a Coventry fan. So just leave it. -
Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17

I actually said Swindon are favourites, having been top of the league. It's just all this "oh, poor little underdogs Poole" stuff that is nonsense as, of the two, they are the in-form side. -

Form guide going into this meeting - last 6 matches. Poole: W W W L W W Swindon: W W W W L L Swindon were top of the league so, in reality, would have to be expected to be seen as favourites, but all this false modesty from Poole fans is not based in any reality. Of the two sides they are the more in-form team. -
He retired, I believe.

"Us"? Seriously? -
Serious mind games being tried on by the Pirates at this time, bless 'em. If they are taking Ellis as an asset then it would be Swindon's fault for not snapping him up first, but this thing about signing riders without the riders even knowing about it seems a bit odd to me. Ford and Cook a bit out of order there - more so Cook, really, as the current holder of his registration, but surely the rider himself should be involved in discussions, which is why these little announcements seem like an attempt to unsettle Swindon.

What is the rule that says you need British riders? I thought it said riders coming through the conference league. So Nick Morris and Bradley Wilson Dean also count. Anyway, a guest takes on the position of the rider he is replacing so it counts as a British rider as he hasn't replaced Zach in the side. And you all know it, you naughty Pirates. -
Much more offensive that Havvy's dreadlocks and drug taking was the record he brought out. "I'm on cloud niiiiiine. I'm on cloud niiiine." (Just gone on Youtube to see if I could find this delight of 90s music but couldn't find it. Found this, though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szT1Q-YhGFk )

I put it on, fell asleep, and woke up at the end as they were interviewing Matej Zagar. Did they have a power failure or something?

He seems to have disappeared. That's a shame. Old Bob usually has plenty to say about Poole and Swindon despite his Coventry roots! -

A decent guest for Zach would help, but not quite so significant. To be honest, we need to effectively write that position off anyway and hopebthe other reserve can cover adequately. Maybe Davey can come in at Swindon and score a few, but Bellego and BWD need to be on their game at Poole, otherwise we are in trouble. I hope BWD turns up too. The less guests, the better. -
Not as impressive as White City, who used it for an entire season and won the league. To think that Leicester once tracked the same seven riders in every meeting for an entire season. How times have changed!

Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17
Grachan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It's all down to the form of Bradley Wilson-Dean and David Bellego. If BWD comes back in and hits the ground running, and David Bellego is back on song, Swindon could win. If those two struggle, so will the mighty ones. Poole were league favourites while everyone laughed at Swindon's line-up, so Poole are obviously favourites, but underdogs Swindon aren't out of it yet. Prediction: League favourites 47 Team that are stupid for signing Doyle and Ellis 43. -

They banned Swedes in 1974. The following year they were desperte to have them back. And that was when speedway had crowds. -
So it is. Well spotted.

Wolves - Swindon Followed By Wolves - Kings Lynn 4.9.17
Grachan replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
More "supposes" that show last night wasn't all doom and gloom. Suppose Bradley Wilson-Dean rode, beat just the other reserves, and took an extra ride in heat 14. The score would be 47-43 to Wolves. Not a bad defecit. SUPPOSE that happened AND Jason Doyle had won heat 5 instead of coming off because there was less pressure due to not being on a TR. And Swindon had got a 4-2 instead of losing one. That's a draw. Suppose Bellego had his new engine that he is saving for the play-offs and scored an extra point. Win for Swindon. Suppose my Auntie had..... well, just saying. It's not as bad as people think.
