Interesting topic. Perhaps there are further categories to be had? But for me: Best gater: Bob Kilby. He didn't always make the gate, but when he did, boy did he! He's be about 3 lengths clear by the first bend. Best racer: Peter Collins. How about best team rider? John Cook. Never seen anything to match his ride with Lance King at Ipswich in the test against GB. Best all rounder: Hans Nielsen.

If you read through, you'll see that some people are saying both should be guilty. You seem to be reading things into it that aren't there. There may be a case for both to have been guilty, but there is certainly a difference in the two scenarios.
-
You don't know for sure, maybe, but it is enough to cast reasonable doubt. I only know from what is on here. I don't know the full details of the case. But that's how it seems to me. There is a clear difference between the two though. It does seem to me that the first guy is guilty of some form of aiding and abetting, however, with regard to the second case.
-
The case isn't about her being drunk. The case is that in the first instance she willingly went to a hotel with the guy, hence a degree of consent was assumed. Not guilty. In the second instance the guy snuck in the room, gave her one without her knowledge, and snuck out again. Sounds like rape to me.
-
From Halifaxtiger's post it's pretty obvious how one committed rape and one didn't. I'm surprised people are having problems seeing it.

The Yorkshire Ripper believed he was innocent. Doesn't mean he was.

According to the Defunct Speedway website, High Beech was still staging meetings right up to 1967.

I guess they must have agreed with her though. And Jessica Ennis is higher profile than Charlie Webster (both at the club and nationally). It's certainly not her and her alone.
-
It wasn't just Charlie. It was Jessica Ennis too. Plus several club sponsors, includng a company owned by boxer Johnny Nelson.

Nothing wrong with Miedzinski. I'd certainly take him over Watt or Pedersen - although that article is a bit confusing as it says Pedersen is "unlikely" but also says "despite" retiring.

He didn't really actually buy "bricks" for Belle Vue. Investing some money into a company can be offset to tax. This is called a "brick". So it's just a way of cutting your tax bill. I know this because my accountant told me I could do this if I wanted to as a tax avoidance scheme. But it confused me too much and involved the word "effort" so I didn't bother! Must admit I did have a little chuckle to myself when he started going on about "bricks" and I realised what it meant. If Darcy Ward has a hearing in January, then it's pretty obvious that Poole aren't going to make any team building decisions until after that. It doesn't neccesarily mean he'll be in or out of the side. Would love holder at Swindon, but, as said, there appears to be a visa issue there. Not sure why a former world Champion should have such issues, but it just shows how difficut that is getting now.

In other words, Mr Darcy should be cleared for the good of speedway.

Do we know for sure that Dak actually had any involvement in this transfer deal?

Officially both finished on 7.58. Troy scored more bonus points.

He was top of our averages last year and we weren't in big trouble.
-
And by the end of the year we'd probably be using 3 guests for them.

Linksport saying Howarth, Bachelor and Morris likely to be the initial signings.
-
Kildemand, Morris and Howarth are still on the up. Plus it's a lot stronger at reserve, which will make a lot of difference.
-
Let's see if he can score 20 points in one though. I like Doyle. I'd just like to see how he follows up last year first before coming to any conclusion about being better than Bachelor and Kildemand.
-
No he hasn't. It's still open to debate.
-
As I said, he's an option. I just don't think he's the best one. As has been said, if Doyle comes out in heats 5 and 15 and wins them he gets a 12 average. If Bachelor and Kildermand come out and get 2 5-1 wins, with Bachelor second in both. Bachelor gets an 8 average from the same standard. But Doyle is ok, although it would, for me, be a drop from Kildermand or Holder who would be worth the extra point on his average.
-
I preferred Kildermand and Bachelor last year and would rather have them back. Also there's talk of Chris Holder. Rather have him too. A real, proper number one. Hans Andersen. I think he brings more to a team than just his points. Doyle would be ok, but I don't really think he's a proven number one yet.
-
Kyle Howarth is NOT a Swindon asset. I don't get this obsession with Jason Doyle. He's a decent rider and I'd be okay with him in the side but I'd agree with SCB that he's not the best option and has a higher average than I'd want him on.

Not too many things wrong this year. the increased points limit is good, though could have been more than 2 points what with 2 less teams this year. Like others, though, I don't see why they drop the "2 points for a win of 6 or less". They say that home supporters were a bit upset if they lost a point. Well, durrrrr!! They're supposed to be upset. It's called sport. You lose a point, you get upset. And it makes the last heat scenario for the extra point much less relevant, because it only effects the away team. and away teams normally have about 5 supporters there on a good day for your typical league match. The whole point of the scoring system was to keep matches alive. But, if it don't have any impact on your own team, then it's not alive. Still, at least it will keep those following the scores online gripped. So, close to a good AGM boys, but no cigar once again!

EL averages: Stead: 6.92 Cook: 6.21 Allen:5.36 (assessed) ???? Barker: 5.85 King: 6.74 Presuming I've got Allen correct, that comes to 31.08. He's not lying in the first line. He says he had a conversation with Matt Ford and they said this. If they had that conversation then he is telling the truth.
