  1. Best ever? I dislike the guy intensely but of course he is.
  2. BV have got a cracking track. Their problem is others love it as well.
  3. 'Hello Dragons, I'm the Chairman of the BSPA and we're looking for an investment of £200,000 for a....' 'We're out'.
  4. 7 heats gone, 2 'Wolves' race wins, neither by a 'Wolves' rider
  5. 10 points up, lose by 4 Congrats KL, despite a blind team manager
  6. And an inability to control the right hand no doubt.
  7. There's no ruddy good reason apart from saving the extra wages of the folks on the turnstiles.
  8. He may prove me an idiot but if he can't cope with the open spaces of the NSS he's going to struggle around Monmore
  9. Wonder if our friends in the other place see it that way?
  10. #1 Didn't know about Dan's collection, good reason for interval, starting 30 minutes late, not so much. #2 The reason for not opening the gates till 19:00 (normally 18:30) is clubs agreed later start to assist travelling riders/fans. I'll take a score draw 1-1
  11. Riders and fans already under time pressure on turnaround, start 30 minutes late, I know, let's have an interval
  12. So now we know why the Monmore start time was put back half an hour to 8pm
  13. So why not just include the fact on the OS site preview? 'We asked if Max would take the booking (Cook probably focused on Gorzow) but due to the tightness of the play off race he said thanks, but no thanks/we didn't believe it was the correct thing to do under the circumstances'. Adams has hinted at the latter being correct in the Star today'. Kills all criticism/rumour stone dead.
  14. You'll have to give me a bit of a pointer, can't find it!
  15. The whole of the Championship to choose from and the s come up with Kus and Sarjeant. 8 rides, 0 points Past. Sell. By. Date.
  16. Oh my gawd. Not only that Kus for Anderson and Sarj for Greaves
  17. Be interesting to see, if Schlein isn't available, if we try to get away with RR, which would be suicidal IMO, especially in a double header. With only the Aces not in action it looks like Cook or Fricke.
  18. The Wolves OS doesn't say something like 'We asked Lambert & NKI but both were unavailable/riding elsewhere/didn't want the booking' which you can guarantee they would have included had they both been asked and refused. It's pretty safe to assume they were never asked in the first place and R/R was taken as the cheap option It's in the DNA.
  19. Have the Rebels got a decent supply of starting tape? Sarj is in town
  20. From the OS's preview of tonight's match. Who writes this guff, it's one of the many reasons speedway is going down the gurgler. The first sentence is fine, the 2nd insults folks intelligence. Should read : 'The 25-year-old has been signed in place of Cameron Heeps and comes highly recommended by Championship outfit Redcar one of whose directors just happens to be Wolves Promoter Chris Van Straaten so it's the easy/cheap option'. WOLVERHAMPTON hand a debut to Danish racer Jonas B Andersen when they host Midland rivals Leicester at Monmore Green on Monday (7.30).The 25-year-old has been signed in place of Cameron Heeps and comes highly recommended by Championship outfit Redcar.
  21. I wonder which Redcar rider the 5.00 will be?
  22. No penny dropping required here. My history of criticism of our promotion's BS over the years is well documented on the forum.
