So they've nailed their colours to the Klindt mast. Hope to God he goes well. For me I can't help thinking it's an easy option and what happens if he has a 'mare in the 1st leg? Publically naming him for the 2nd leg this early is just plain stupid IMO. As regards Gating (or not ) Bob, I was one of the siren voices calling for his inclusion in place of Ty and I'm not going to go cold on him now. Any meetings he had prior to the play offs were always going to be 'warm ups'. Having said that what he has, or rather hasn't, achieved in them is giving me a squeaky bum

After thoroughly deserving to top the table I'm convinced, at least in my own mind and yes I realise I'll probably be in a minority of 1, that Brum have got this wrong. The facts, based on the 4 regular league matches, don't support this but the play offs do tend to be a different gravy and I've just got a feeling that if Wolves can do enough in the 1st leg, 12-14 points for instance, that Birmingham will start to feel the pressure and to be honest if we can't defend that kind of advantage with 2 TRs to fall back on then we won't deserve to progress. What's needed now is for all the guys to get to next Monday uninjured, Tai to achieve his personal goal and the weather to play ball. It's pretty nailed on that Klindt will guest for Jacob, hope for his sake as well as ours, he does a decent job. Let battle commence

Nice pro job Tai. -
Ruddy hell TNT! I was feeling a bit more positive after last night's unexpected win. Then you point out that we'll need to look carefully at booking guests as others, probably Birmingham, may be looking at the same ones. That would require forward planning on the behalf of the promotion. Oh lordy
-
Think we need to be a bit more positive, if that's possible under the circumstances. OK it's a major blow losing Jacob but as Tully & Fricke showed us last monday, make the right choice and you're cooking with gas. It's just the people who are doing the choosing that worry me

We need SCB Tommy I thought it was 4.41 divided by 0.6. I reckon Matt Wethers will figure somewhere.

PL guests up to 7.35 if I've worked the rule out correctly

'Jimmy Nilsen's in his armchair'. RIP.

Revealing little quote from the Dark Lord in the local paper tonight,.....'Along with every other Elite League club we enquired about Patrick Dudek (Polish World Cup winner) and at one stage were in negotiations with Mikkel Michelsen who joined Eastbourne recently but never at a financial level.....' The bit he missed out was 'I know we have been top of the league for most of the season and have a half decent chance in the play offs but if you lot think I'm going to maximise our chances by spending a penny piece more than necessary you've got another thing coming. Now keep on rolling up every Monday and giving me your luverrly lolly there's good fellows'. Outbid by Eastbourne, oh dearie me. (No disrespect to the Beagles by the way).

And me, last December, but they paid Horton for Wells instead. Drat, drat & double drat The good: He knows the tracks he's going to be riding & he can pop out a 'who'd have thought it' ride away from home at any time, which is what we are going to need. The bad : Is he over his injury & has he been permanently damaged by his sojurn on the South Coast? Hell I almost want Poole to make the play offs now so we can let the Misko loose Still got that piece of paper in a safe place BW?

That's correct. Plus every time Pedersen declines to ride in GB (except @ Wolves) he denies CVS a loan fee which no doubt gives him some quiet satisfaction

It isn't the blokes on the bikes who ran out of steam first, it's the 2 muppets in charge who thought they could keep going to the 'on the cheap' well and everything would be honky dory. Well Birmingham crapped on that belief from a great height last night and I have no confidence whatsoever that comes the play offs they have ability or intention of doing anything to maximise our chances. It's long odds on though that they're happy to keep taking your money for a six man team. Prove me wrong. Signed, Utterly disgusted of Wolverhampton.

The morning after the night before Tai's going to be disappointed, so near but yet so far, but he really shouldn't be. That place is a lottery, god knows why they keep it on the schedule, can only be money. Congrats to PUK, in the right place at the right time and took his chance superbly. -
After 55 years I still can't explain the offside law Depends if you're in the red corner and Mike Tyson's in the blue I guess? Thinking about it you can almost understand why the BSPA/SCB are so secretive/less than forthcoming with information. Every time the Football Association make a decision and publish it they look like idiots.

And there ladies & gents is the sport's problems encapsulated in 7 words

On that basis, loan Michelsen

So now we know. After having listened to Adams's aftermatch interview on WM reading between the lines, unless there's a last minute change of heart, it's RR to the end folks! Whingeing that he's had 2 riders lined up only for them to back out at the last minute and it's not easy. Funny how Fat Maud and now even Dugard find a way isn't it Pete? The telling word in the whole interview was 'affordable' as in 'they've got to be affordable'. So even though we'll be in the play offs with a chance, albeit a small one, of going all the way they revert to type and do it on the cheap. If RR is what it turns out to be they don't deserve the supporters they've got. s

Ah, so they've got a cunning plan. Sorry Peter, knew you had it in hand all along

And the replacement for Ty Proctor is.....*tumbleweed drifting* Come on Peter, do tell. You reckoned you wouldn't introduce a new rider against a team like Swindon 2 weeks after saying that you would. Guess the question is would you introduce a new rider against a team like Coventry and if not what qualifications would said team need to have before you would? Or are you just talking utter BS again and have absolutely no intention of doing any such thing?
