  1. Deserved point for KL. Peter Adams before the meeting 'Yeah he (Tai) is fine. 90% fit'. Of course he is Peter. Knob.
  2. Ref is Darren Hartley. All comments about Proctor & jam are null & void Get in there Ash!!!!!!!!!!! Good man.
  3. Tai on home track in Poland today. 3,2,0,0,3,0->8. Struggling if missing the gate? The one thing he ignores is how many Wolves fans travel in the opposite direction. I know them all, they're both nice people
  4. It's been very quiet on the Tai injury news front. I am concerned no news is not necessarily good news. The preview on the OS doesn't mention it, if he was fine they'd be shouting it from the rooftops. What it does mention is this little gem: ........And Van Straaten said: “There are strong rumours that some King’s Lynn fans might actually leave Norfolk and come to Wolverhampton to see their team. “That rarely happens. We don’t see many King’s Lynn fans travelling to Wolverhampton traditionally, but who knows what a win at Coventry can do, it would be nice if the rumours are true and they actually come out of Norfolk for once!” I thought Adams was supposed to be the comedian At this stage I will go for a relatively easy Wolves win. KL will, IMO, be more of a threat on june 23rd.
  5. Ride properly? What was he doing, facing backwards? He's a bigger liability than a Co Op banker.
  6. And you my friend need to get some specs and read what's actually posted (by me). Where did I say Poole shouldn't be allowed Holder for Ward? Have a look at the 'like' on SCB's last post. Bloody hell, there's a real victim syndrome down Dorsetshire way.
  7. He's got a record as long as your arm at any position for going missing.
  8. How's about pointing out where I said he was breaking the rules in the post you quoted Skid??!! I'm getting splinters in me ar$e from sitting on the fence. I was merely pointing out that Ford is playing by the same type of rules that govern MP's expenses ie $hit ones. If pushed personally I've no problem with Holder for Ward especially if he's feeling tired on may 4th
  9. Oh dear. From an EL perspective. -ive : The EL lose the EOES to the PL. +ive : We don't have to put up with the above. Enjoy your new best friend PLers
  10. The wild bugger seems plenty capable of doing all the knocking himself
  11. Won't even bother reading the thread. It's not difficult to work out the antis/pros from the last page. All I will say is to compare the 'within the rules' protestations to a cabinet minister who got hers this week as she was claiming dosh that she protested was 'within the rules'. She just didn't get it. For Maria Miller read Matt Ford, curse him but don't blame him. The easy way to stop troughers like Miller and chancers like Ford is to sort the bloody rules out. Over to you BSPA.
  12. Michelsen will be the Budgies #1 by the end of the season. And before anyone states the obvious that he's against other 2nd strings & NL reserves he's developing past a fair few heat leaders already.
  13. Thanks md. Just wondered as Joe is the asset of another EL club that that league would take priority. Damn it
  14. I thought we had priority. But then again.................
  15. Been doing a, loft clearance. Think I've got a full set of 5 one but wondered if anyone can confirm the date of the last issue? Latest I have is October 1998. Was that the final one? Thanks.
  16. Adams will be trying to gee Ty up as much as possible by riding through his problems. Replacing him with Joe wouldn't help. That being said if not doing it costs the team league points??
  17. That gives us a better idea of where we stand than a home demolition of most folks favourites for the spoon. Got 3 points but suspect there's a few who will get 4. Apart from Tai's injury, which is a bart for the guy, Ty has got to be becoming a worry now. Not being a gater he was always going to struggle tonight but looked frankly awful. How's he going to try to resolve the issue when he's not racing again until the 14th? Ain't Joe Jacobs doing well?
  18. Is it as simple as: # The stadium owners telling Horton that if he wanted to use the facility in 2014 the track prep must be done by stadium themselves? # If you don't agree then no Coventry Speedway? # Horton agreed to the former to avoid the latter? # If the stadium can't/won't deliver the stadium in a fit state then surely the burden of costs lies with the owners providing the rental contract is fitter for purpose than the track curator? If that's the situation then it's clear where the blame for a unfit track lies, however a bloke as experienced as Horton could surely see a situation like this arising. 'They screw up, I'll get blamed' sort of thing. Where Horton is to blame is in the way he has handled the fall out from an unfit track and how that affects his customers/fans. Questions would of course have been asked why the meetings in question had to be scrapped for the reason they were but the big beef is surely why people were allowed to travel not once but twice to a meeting that had no chance of being on. That that's been allowed to happen is firmly in Horton's court. He's took the stadium owners word for it, not bothered to get his ar$e to Brandon to see the situation for himself, twice.
  19. Give the guy a break Wolfie. At least he found his way there. Someone must have bought him an A to Z for Christmas God forbid it happens but if Nick Morris gets hurt what would Somerset do? Reckon it's pretty certain that sooner or later he'll get a PL place somewhere. Just hope when he does the team he joins still have to go to the Oak Tree. Breaking the track record would be nice. Then they'd have to have his name in the programme every week
