The majority of the rest meanwhile can't see past the next season. Not always. Why should the system have to support any promotion who have had their good times but have failed to build from a position of strength for the future and allowed the world to pass them by? The only way Wolves & others can catch up now is by moving the goal posts in their favour.

The issue, at least for me, wasn't, and still isn't, what caused the ridiculous drop in his average, I have insufficient knowledge to make that judgement, but rather, when it was obvious early season that it wasn't working for him in the UK, Woffinden, CVS & Adams carried on with business as usual, costing the club any chance of a shot at the play offs.

That puts to bed the Poole/Wolves or anyone else rumours to bed then. At least we won't be having a winter of will he/won't he.

If that's correct then it'll be interesting to see which country he misses out on, Sweden or Poland?

Yep, really, honestly. Slaughtered no, criticised yes, but ultimately his position would have been understood, at least by me anyway.

All Woffinden had to do in 2014 was put his hands up early doors and say 'I've took on too much here, I'm not doing myself or the team any good, I need a break from the UK for the rest of the year' and people, including myself, would have been disappointed but ultimately would have understood his dilemma. Instead of which he carried on with a workload that he couldn't cope with with the resultant ridiculous drop in his average in the UK.

The sport's been chasing the lowest denominator for years. The time for this was before the majority of the GP boys decided that there was life without the UK. As someone else has said, it just wouldn't be possible now due to lack of riders. Opportunity missed IMO.
